Rant about myself. When in a group situation where there is a very dominant coworker either related to skill or status with management. I always start out contributing ideas but after realizing my ideas are dumb or just dismissed I stop trying and just fade into the background and do what I am told. I also become detached from the project and start putting my energy into learning or side projects. I feel like such a wimp and pushover. I get told I don't have passion.

Product Owner.
Not Product Liaison.
Not Product Buddy.
Not Product Suggester.

Own it. Bend it to your will. Make it better or sunset it and build it again. But don’t be a wet noodle and say “I’m just following orders”. You give the orders, you own it.

Today my son broke an ankle during soccer practice, told him to walk it off, fucking wimp. My wife called me insensitive, but if he was never aware of the fact he truly broke it, we would've been fine and saved some money.

Gratefully I finished my project for work and now I'm getting a promotion!!! It can only go up from here.
