Some weeks back I mentioned (in a comment) my small program capable of editing the tags in audio files based on the filename.
Today, I had some spear time and implemented it in Go (the original version was Ruby).
For people that are interested, here is a link to the repo: https://github.com/SirWindfield/...
Any help/feedback is appreciated!
I promised someone to mention him if I get to publish it. But I forgot his user name :(9 -

Q: Has anyone heard anything about Google leaving Kotlin and Java behind to use C# for Android development?
I was talking to someone who told me this yesterday. Of course I dnt believe it, nor can I find anything on that BS he was feeding me.
That whole-ass 1 hour convo was BS from start to finish.
There was more crap said, but I’ll spear you all the details. I just need to know if this is even remotely true. I’m sure it’s not, but he’s convinced it is. 🙄13 -
"I make all my decisions on intuition. But then, I must know why I made that decision. I throw a spear into the darkness. That is intuition. Then I must send an army into the darkness to find the spear. That is intellect." - Ingmar Bergman4

Someone from QA just randomly started asking me about API requests and responses today. For our backend which is not actually an API and changes all the time without notice. They just like, casually wanna know the contract of every endpoint on that.
So after having a heart attack thinking my coworker got spear phished I find out QA has decided to start testing our backend without telling us let alone asking us if it's a good idea.2 -
I have a confession to make.
Everytime I play the ace ventura 2 scene where a black guy sticks a spear in his leg i'm thinking about this piece of crap with his arm already in a sling who i do not like because of what kind of trash he is, and breaking his other arm.2 -
Heard while playing Clue:
Person 1: It was the Jamaican, with the spear, in the jungle.
Person 2: What Jamaican?
Person 1: Trouble... -
I think the notification about downloading pictures from devRant is useless. It isn't something amazing at 2017.2
