Is it only me that thinks inertia js with Laravel just seems bloated and not necessary? Am I missing some thin Laravel and Vue seems more simple than Laravel, Vue, and inertiaJS.

Is it normal for developers to have to code first to design and not document what they did until they are completely done? I usually write basic docs before starting and progress it throughout the development process.

Product owner said don’t allow decimals in markup and we disabled decimals. At the 11th hour she said well what I wanted was for them to add decimals and we round up and save the rounded version. They initially type in 20.6 round up to 21 then calculate the percentage. And you refresh the page markup now says 21% not your original value. How is that even smart.

I am currently a backend developer at a company in the financial services industry. In January I approached the owners that I wanted to discuss a pay increase due to new skills I have o trained that they want. At first they were willing to meet the next day but the next morning wanted me to wait until review time. I told I was willing to wait as long as they would give me a date and time. Due to last review season being blind sided and having to have my review 10 minutes after getting back from vacation without warning. It hey did they didn’t have the times schedule yet so I waited till last week to request the time again since it’s one month away and they basically said we aren’t giving you a time we will call you when we get your time. I think they are stalling because I’m highly leveraged now and that don’t want to face the reality that I am due for a pay raise. What do you guys think

A fellow developer think SASS is slow and "slower" to write. But wants me to edit styles in a 10k line style sheet. Anyone else had similar problems converting die hard CSS fanboys to use SASS.
