Never let customers define the priority levels. It will end in:
- Normal (never used)
- High (used for small text changes)
- Higher
- OMG fix now
- Highest
- the World is ending if this doesn't get fixed now
- different existential plane of priority

One of the things that make devRant special is it's multicultural nature. Every time I see a photo, it is from another country and even with such different people, we all relate to the same things and that is, my friends, fucking dope. No other social network is like this. Props to devRant!2

I am done with people, I just want one single room, with good internet, dual monitor setup... And I can spend my whole life like that... Being social, fuck that shit... I have devRant for that... and rest, I just want to code, listen to music, drink coffee and sleep like hell...
Why is it that I can understand some other dev's code faster that understanding someone's feelings. Why is it that I am good with principles of Programming Languages, but not the basic Principles of Humanity... Yes, I agree I don't have feelings, but is it wrong not to have feelings, I am a dev, I am supposed to be good with Codes, not humans... I want to be in my small space of close people. (My family), and that's it... I am no good with others. I hate Facebook, but love devRant, I spend more time on StackOverflow than that on WhatsApp. Why is it so... Why29 -
So devRant is an app I found while coming up with an idea to create a platform for developers to rant.....DAMN IT!!!6

When you're approaching a deadline and your cat likes to rest her head on your wrist while you code and its making your hand cramp but you don't want to make them move because it's the first physical contact with a living being you've had all day. ;_;

Game Development,
Because it merges together so many interesting fields so well. It has a ton of physics, a lot of art and design, psychology, philosophy, storytelling, music ...
And it really gives you the possibility to make anything work to your rules. The only limit there is is the limits of logic and your hardware.7 -
Business: How long will it take to add that feature to the legacy system?
Programmer: When will the new system be implemented?
Business: 6 months
Programmer: The new feature will take 7 months3 -
Standard Sunday evening I guess:
I wake up, satisfied that I already did all my tasks for this week and most of the tasks for next week.
5 minutes before I'm heading to bed I get a message from my boss saying he's disappointed that there is this one task I didn't finish yet, because he arranged a meeting with a customer about it tomorrow. Well, you know what you fuck, maybe, just maybe you should begin showing interest for your own company and actually use Jira to assign deadlines so people know wtf to prioritize. I'm so pissed off, I've been working for 4 hours straight this evening now, only to bang my head against the wall and realise I can't finish it since I have to buy a Windows 10 machine to test out some features. Fuck you! Maybe tell me next time you have a meeting about a certain thing. Yes, I could have spent more time throughout the week, and yes, you could learn to fucking communicate and show some care for your own company.
English is not my native language, so I can't really express how furious I am right now. And yes, he's genuinely mad at me.8 -

Fahrenheit? Like seriously? Let's measure my temperature when I'm having fever, great let's say it's 100 degrees of Fahrenheit. And while I'm at it, let's measure how cold it's outside. Splendid, let's make it zero degrees. It's not like anybody would use this super scientific scale anyway, right?

Had to explain the difference between front and backend.

I just wanted to shout out to everyone here and say that I really appreciate how great everyone here really is. I've posted rants in the past on dev subreddits and I've always received harassment for one reason or another. In my whole time here, I don't remember running into anyone who was nearly as verbally abusive as those on Reddit. Thank you all for being you and please continue to do so.3

We got a sever with two Intel Xeon E5520 processors and each processor has 8 cores and 2.27GHz.
Also the server has 36Gb of internal memory.
What do we do with it? We play Solitair 😎19 -
