Looks like I'm getting fired on Wednesday :)
Long story:
*I add first unit tests to project.
*Boss adds new functionality and breaks all the tests so I can't compile and write more for what I'm working on.
*Boss is very fragile and cannot handle any comment that can possibly be taken as a slight against him.
Me: "I wanted to ask what our policy on unit tests is please? Because we haven't really said how we are treating unit tests, and everyone myself included is not thinking about them. I also haven't added tests when I fixed bugs and this time your changes broke the tests"
Boss 10 minutes later: "I want to speak to you in private".
Boss: "you are too forceful and direct. You said I should have added tests."
Me: "yeah but I didn't mean in a nasty way"
Boss getting louder and more aggressive: "You are too forceful"
Me: "I didn't mean it in a bad way"
Boss: "I didn't want to add tests for that!"
Me: "then why add any tests?"
Boss: "Fine we are not having this conversation now!"
*Boss storms out
I decided I can't speak to the guy about anything without upsetting him spoke to the manager before I quit because I can't work like this.
That resulted in a meeting with my boss, his boss and the head of HR where I ended up savaging him and told them I can't bring up anything as I can never tell if it will offend him and that I spend ages writing emails and trying to document communications because I just can never tell if I will upset him. Also that I cannot bring up any ideas because I can't tell if he will somehow get offended and that I can't even write code because if I change something he wrote at some point he will get angry.
My boss claims that I am extremely forceful and disrespectful and that I am constantly insulting him and his decisions.
We go back over a ton of shit and I refute everything he says. In the end I have to have a meeting with him on Wednesday where we either get things straight, he fires me or I quit.
I think at this point that our relationship is too fucked for him to be my team lead on a 6 man team.
Side note I keep bringing forth ideas because we have one database shared between 6 Devs, no pull requests (apart from mine and another new guy), no test driven development, no backlog, no team driven story pointing, no running tests before merging, no continuous integration setup, no integration tests, no build step on merge, no idea of if we are on track to our deadline other than his gut feeling, no actual unit tests backend - just integration with a test db, no enthusiasm to learn in the team and no hope.21 -
Background: I'm proficient at PowerShell, I was told that I got hired to my previous job (as DevOps engineer) mainly because of that skill.
Few months after I started I wrote a script to automate some processes. My boss saw the script and told me that it was too complicated, and that I should make it more simple.
Now I'm all into clean code, meaningful names, small functions.
So the code was readable and maintainable.
I asked him in what way is it complicated. He didn't know exactly. (Later I figured that he didn't know of some of the (built-in) cmdlets and functions I used.)
He raised his hand high and made a gesture and explained that I'm "that high (skill? enthusiasm?)", then lowered his hand to a lower position to mark the bottom line, then raised it up half way up and said that he wants me here - in the middle.
After that he added: "This is not Microsoft! and we don't own the 3 other buildings that can be seen from our office window" and pointed at the window.
I was surprised by his comment, I didn't know how to respond.
I've got more stories to share about that workplace.
I can't believe I stayed at that place for 1 year and 2 months.16 -
My 17" companion just arrived 😎 Looking forward to boost up the enthusiasm!
Aaaand put Linux in there.

Drunk as in wasted?
I've never coded in such a pitiful state because it kills all concentration cells, but a Depressados once in a while makes enthusiasm +10 and stressIgnoring +50.
5 -
Sometimes, I find myself around a bunch of annoying newbs who ask dumb questions...
because I'm a part time CS instructor at a high school...
but when I see light bulbs switch on and the smell of enthusiasm in the air, makes teaching so worth it.5 -
It's Friday folks and my huge bag of enthusiasm for work has just been found empty. Have a great day

Alright boys, let me tell you how someone fucked up so hard they got their deployment schedule delayed "indefinitely".
Being security, we get to oversee most deployments, and we especially get to oversee all deployments that are on IT-managed tech. Knowing fullwell about this fact, some dumb motherfuckers woke up and thought to themselves "You know what would be good fun? To piss on security's asshole and then try and ream them up the backside before they notice the piss!"
Well let me tell you, we noticed. And our boss noticed. And his boss noticed. And the CIO noticed. Thus it came down the chain that this particular group of lie-spurting, baseless accusation-leveling group of developers would have their deployments put on hold. How long? "A while."
I have never quite heard my higher-ups this mad before, but damn if i dont share in their enthusiasm to stick it to entitled cunts.15 -
I used to think I was so clever by viewing the source code of websites, and would just scroll through it for fun, but what really got me started in programming was the TI-83 calculator I got in grade 10.
You couldn't view the code of most programs on that calc without a computer connection, but I managed to get my hands on the source code of something simple and learned how to prompt for values and calculate things with them. Before I knew it, I was making little programs in BASIC that did formulas for me (Area/circumference of a circle, etc.). One of my professors caught me showing my calculator to another student in class, and assumed I was being a bad student. When I said I made a program as a shortcut for one of the formulas we were learning, she tried to call my bluff and said to write the whole program on the whiteboard for the class to see. 10 minutes of writing and more than one blank stare from my classmates later, the teacher just waved me off and continued the lesson. I was chuffed :-). I made these simple programs for all my math classes throughout high school.
Unfortunately, my first year of university I took a CS course, and my teacher was probably the worst I've ever had in my life. I decided it wasn't for me, and though I did maintain my general aptitude for tech (and was still the person who fixed everyone's printers and viruses), I took a different path, eventually getting an Arts degree in Anthropology.
Where I live, the market for this is more than stale. In fact, it's completely flat, so I thought I would take a course about programming with Arduinos for fun and see if I should return to school for a different certification. It was AWESOME! I made a wireless weather station with Xbees and sensors and built my own anemometer.
I got a job at a manufacturing company, and had the fortune to build a robot which eventually made it's way to the second season of Battlebots. The level of intelligence and enthusiasm I encountered really inspired me, and now here I am at 31, halfway through a BSc in Computer Science and working for a company that makes 3D printers.
It's been a long journey, but the adventure always starts anew tomorrow.5 -
Isn't it great when you start a project with nothing but dedication and enthusiasm to have it ruined by someone that just doesn't care and proceeds to shit on everything you have worked for.2
-
Started a new job with loads of enthusiasm. That's gone. Every day I walk in thinking "today is the day I'll start enjoying it". Every day I'm proven wrong within 10 mins.1
-
I just wanted to get this off my chest.
There we go, that time is finally coming: all of my friends are starting to look for jobs; we are all about to graduate, but i feel no desire to move forward... I wish i had their optimism, but all i feel is terror and panic every time they bring up the topic...
I have no plan, no idea of what might happen, and i don't feel like i am particularly competent in anything: I do not have much to offer to society, surely not in terms of technical skills: i'm a real shitty programmer with the attention span of a goldfish.
I am passionate about a bunch of topics, but i am not competent at them in any meaningful way: I like reading about x86 Assembly or Operating System design, but if you'd ask me to write them i wouldn't be able to really. Its all superficial, i read these things for fun but i never really accomplished anything.
And i know this is all in my head, that as soon as i find anything its probably gonna be fine, i just wish i had the enthusiasm and drive that people around me seem to have, instead of acting like a little bitch :)8 -
I feel like resigning from a company that i joined 3 weeks back.
I don't like to code in PHP and the manager wants to stick on to that , no new developers joining the company and php is one of the reason. The code is a mess. Every now and then some other team come running for a change like one button to do some shit and then for a fix after 15mins of release.
So many database operations are happening manually. No innovation in the team. Developers are very boring , women being senior developers and team leads brings stability but there is no innovation , excitement or any enthusiasm. All my team members are very happy doing mediocre shit. Manager talks about agile development and they are following that at a level where every half a day some requirement changes.
I m tired of being a developer that fixes the same mediocre shit.
Its too boring.6 -

In the name of my partner: GO FUCK YOURSELF YOU FILTHY MUSHROOM ADDICT SLAVER! DAMN SUN OF A BITCH!
My partner does her obligatory internship for university. Guess what, the place where she is working offers no payment, 40h a week and even work unrealted to her studies!
She went there with pure enthusiasm and power and this whole non-sense facility of fucktards broke her. She lost her bliss and is really depressed now - mainly because of this fucktard, cock-sucking boss that has no fucking fire anymore and is abusing everyone there mantaly. If not for me she'd get not a songle positive feedback from this whole piece of junk which really, REALLY PISSES ME OF. FUUUCK. How can someone be such a joy sucking prick?
And the university?! They just don't give a fuck because they don't have enough employees to tackle all problems while at the same time their whole organization is the biggest pile if stinky, sleazy shit you have ever seen!! Omg.
Just had to get that out. Fuck.1 -
After 2 years in a small company as an all around software developer (started with xamarin for Android/iOS, then Unity, then OpenXML, augmented reality, virtual reality and .Net MVC...yeah all that and lots more) I changed to another company and I'm here 1 month and some days. I am super enthusiastic and I like it here!! They're more specific and professional, exactly what I need at the moment.
What is the problem, you might ask?
I was given some projects, I have done most of the work but now an issue arrived. I did almost everything and now we're waiting for some answers needed before closing the projects. And I get bored. I want to work!! I need to continue the streak! Just give me something and I'll make it happen!! I am boreeed!!
What is wrong with me? Am I buggy or something?2 -
I once agreed to maintain and develop an application used in a different section of the school to keep inventory and make sure everything is where it is supposed to be.
At first there was enthusiasm, together with 2 of my classmates we agreed and git clone-d the .NET application that now graduated students built and maintained for the past few years. What could go wrong right?!
It became clear that the original students that worked on it followed an older curriculum, meaning they still got taught .NET instead of the core variant that we get now, not only that but it also seemed that they either did not fully grasp the Clean/Onion architecture or didn't get it in class since there were infrastructure components in the 'Domain' project of the solution. Think of 2 DBContexts in the domain model, yep.
One of us bailed in the first week, the other one and I felt bad for the people using the app so we went on and tried to work on the first bugs that were described in a document. One of these bugs was 'whenever I filter on something in the list, everybody gets to see that filter on their screen instead of only me'. Woah that's weird! Let's see how they put that together!
Oh god, they are using a _static_ variable to store filters, no wonder that it doesn't work properly. Ever heard of sessions?!
Second bug: Sometimes people can't create an account when we sign them up from the admin panel. Alright that is weird, let's figure that one out! Wait a second it seems to work in development? What's this about.
Oh wait I can't create an account on production either? Oh that's weird, wait a second... Why do I have to put my e-mail in a form that was sent to me through e-mail? Why is my address not filled in already? OOH, if someone types in the wrong e-mail address (which is easy since our school has 4 variants of the same f*cking e-mail address) it won't work since it can't recognize the user! Brilliant! Remove e-mail input box and make a token/queryparam determine the user account.
Ah that seems good, it's a mess but it seems a tiny bit better now, great! We're making progress and some sweet buck.
Next bug, trillions of 50x errors on random pages, that's a weird one.
Hm everything works in development, that's odd. Is the production data corrupted?
DID I MENTION that in order to get into the system in development we have to load in a f*cking production database backup ON OUR DEVELOPMENT MACHINE and then ask one of the users' password to login to it and create an account for ourselves? Seeding? What's that, right?!
Anyway, back to bug fixing. I e-mail the the people responsible for the app and get a production admin account, oh I also can't ssh into it because of policies so I have to do everything over e-mail and figure out what's causing the errors. I somehow also wonder if they have any kind of virtualization in place, giving students a VM to do that stuff in doesn't seem so weird does it ? Even with school policies?
Oh btw, 'deploying' means sending a .zip file to a guy in another building and telling him how to configure it, apparently this resulted in a missing folder that the application needed to work and couldn't make on its own. This after 2 weeks of e-mailing back and forth.
After 3 months i quit out of despair and sadness, and due to the fact that I just couldn't do it anymore. I separated everything into logical subprojects and let the last guy handle it, he was OK with that and understood why I left.
Luckily, around that time I already had an actual job at a software development company :)3 -
Sat for hours programming in a great new feature. At the end I tested it... and nothing happened. It didn't even have any effect. It just continued as normal. Talk about deflating enthusiasm...2
-
When your boss comes to your desk and starts talking about a great feature with such enthusiasm and you can tell he's been thinking about it for a while.
"we already have that. You asked me to add that like 3 weeks ago."2 -
I started to hate programming.
I started with a lot of enthusiasm 11 years ago up to become in 2 years a full stack dev, a sysadmin and had also my fair share of technical assistance on every device plus hardware experience mounting hardware like cctvs, routers, extenders, industrial printers and so on. At the time you actually had the tools to solve problems and had to crack your head and pull hairs to solve stuff and people actually was developing solution and frameworks that solved stuff.
Today I can't stand anything.
Every midschooler feels entitled to release a framework that is announed as the next cure for cancer. Web dev once was thin and simplistic, now simplicity is considered a bug and not a feature.
I'm working on an angular project for the nth time and the whole environment is a clusterfuck of problems held togheter with kids glue.
Someone did a tool/framework for everything but most of it is barely well tested or mature.
Just to start this project we had to know, beside html/css/js techs like Angular, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, git, Lit, npm/node, mysql/sql server, webpack/grunt and the hell that it brings, C#/Asp.NET/MVC/WebAPI, and so on, the list is long.
DAMN. Making a simple page which shows a tabbed view with some grids requires you to know a whole damn stack of technologies that need to cooperate togheter.
It's 10x more complex and I actually find it much less productive than ever.
But what bugs me most, is that 90% of that stuff is bug ridden, has some niche use case or hidden pitfall and stuff because with this whole crap of "hey we put on github you open a ticket" they just release spaghetti code and wait for people to do the debug for them.
Angular puts out a version every 2 days and create destructive updates.
I am so tired that I spend most of my 8hrs binging youtube vids in despair to procrastinate work.
I liked to do this once....12 -
just my useless opinion - I don't think bitcoin will every see a big drop
at least, not for ten years
in reality, every bitcoin transaction you make is just a number in the blockchain, just like any other coin. but unlike other coins, bitcoin is #1, has hype in the media, etc.
bitcoin is essentially the name brand of coins. when people think crypocurrency no other name comes to mind.
ethureum, litecoin, dogecoin? nope. nada. null. nil. None. the rate at which bitcoin will increase will become even more astounding. people can now profit of it more and more mining will happen because more people want to buy.
unfortunately I didn't buy it and 5¢, nor $4000, but I don't think we'll see another >$3000 drop for a while.
as the enthusiasm around it decreases, the price will increase at a slower rate, but nevertheless, growing.
my recommendation: buy now. and even if it does go down $2000 after you buy it, it'll probably come back up. so when it's work $110,000 in 2020, I don't think the $2000 will mean as much.
just my two cents.
I'd love to head some other opinions.15 -
I show code for some cool but simple stuff to my gf.
She "how the hell are you able to come up with this shet? Who taught you to program? "
Me "Patience, enthusiasm and google"1 -
Oh, well. Work on bad projects with bad clients/managers, for the sake of the money, it's a life sucker. At first I thought it was not a big deal. I was collaborating to someone's elses business and doing the best work I could.
I was tired, depressed, sleepless, having allergic rhitinis every two weeks, frustrated without any opportunity to grow intellectually, fearing clients calls and emails, and... in denial.
Since last year, I decided to stop working on some kind of project and for some kind of people. As the remaining contracts and projects were being wrapped up, I started to feel relieved, despite of all anxienty of let go long term clients and see income lowering.
Then I started to use my free time and savings to futher my education, send cvs and work on side projects. It's not an easy transition. I'll still need to keep working on not-so-good projects to pay the bills, however, I've been selecting more.
Slowly I'm recovering my life, health and enthusiasm for cs again.
I'm learning to not give a fuck and it really helps.1 -
I start shaking and getting nervous when there is something I really, really want to say.
Today in school we started talking about Amazon Alexa and privacy.
This topic concerns me a lot and I started talking in front of the whole class about Google and things they do to spy on you. After about 30 seconds of me talking I started shaking because there was so much I wanted to say and with so much enthusiasm and also a bit of anger.13 -
"Here is one of the few effective keys to the design problem — the ability of the designer to recognize as many of the constraints as possible — his willingness and enthusiasm for working within these constraints. Constraints of price, of size, of strength, of balance, of surface, of time and so forth." - Charles Eames
-
i normally go to tasks with great enthusiasm. later that day, i realize the scope of the task, and i wanna kill myself2
-
This is definitely a total first world problem but I am so frustrated.
I am stuck in a team that embodies the Japanese proverb "The nail that sticks out gets hammered down".
The management are there because it is convenient and flexible and have no interest in managing or keeping up with tech.
The lead developers are extremely anti-social and are not approachable and the this stems down to the devs (not all but really most) - all there just to do the bare minimum and spend most of their energies in trying to avoid work or having learn something.
Unfortunately I am passionate about what I do and want to build high-quality products and this has put me at odds with the way things work.
I could fill up alot of time talking about how I was ordered to "cut" images/icons out of PDFs rather just getting them from the branding team, or how I was scolded for having set up logging, detected a problem caused by another developer and fixed it before it cost a big client a massive amount of money... But really the point is that I have never worked somewhere with such an awful attitude to enthusiasm and quite frankly it boggles my mind trying to understand how they rationalise these things but the answer is always laziness.
Obviously there are worse problems in the world than working in a job where you are encouraged to do nothing... But it actually really depresses me and causes anxiety that I am working with people who don't care about testing or monitoring or learning new things or even collaboration.
...sigh...
Hopefully the job market will start opening again soon3 -
Well it's a bit long but worth reading, two crazy stories in one rant:
So there are 2 things to consider as being my first job. If entrepreneurship counts, when I was 16 my developer friend and I created a small local music magazine website. We had 2 editors and 12 writers, all music enthusiasts of more or less our age. We used a CMS to let them add the content. We used a non-profit organization mentorship and got us a mentor which already had his exit, and was close to his next one. The guy was purely a genius, he taught us all about business plans, advertising, SEO, no-pay model for the young journalists (we promised to give formal journalist certificates and salary when the site grows up)
We hired a designer, we hired a flash expert to make some advertising campaigns and started filling the site with content.
Due to our programming enthusiasm we added to the raw CMS some really cool automation: We scanned our country's radio charts each week using a cron job and the charts' RSS, made a bot to search the songs on youtube and posted the first search result as an embedded video using some reg-exps. This was one of the most fun coding times I've had. Doing these crazy stuff with none to little prior knowledge really proved me I can do anything with the power of will.
Then my partner travelled to work in an internship in the Netherlands and I was too lazy to continue it on my own and it closed, not so surprisingly for a 16 years old slacker boy.
Then the mentor offered my real first job. He had a huge forum (14GB of historical SQL) but it was dying, the CMS version was very old and he wanted me to upgrade it to the latest. It didn't seem hard at first, because there were very clear instructions in the CMS website on how to do that. However, the automation upgrade scripts didn't work well because the forum owners added some raw code (not MVC plugins but bad undocumented code) and some columns to the SQL tables. I didn't give up and decided to migrate between the versions without the scripts. I opened a new CMS and started learning by heart all of the database columns so I can make a script to migrate between the versions. The first tests ran forever because processing 14GB of data on a single home computer is not a task meant to be done. I didn't give up. I made an old forum and compared the table structures and code with my mentor's. I think I didn't exhaustively finish this solution, the task was too big on my shoulders and eventually I gave up. I still owe thanks for that mentor for teaching me how to bare with seemingly (and practically) impossible tasks, for learning not to fear from being a leader and an entrepreneur and also for paying me in time even though I didn't deliver anything 😂 -
I don't know my problem is. I lost my motivation to code, my enthusiasm and excitement to read a code and solve a problem. My love of my life for 6 years whom I thought she's the one, gave up on us. It was a long journey, lots of ups and downs, but really worth the time and sacrifice. Now, she's doing good, very happy on her life judging from her social media. Can't believe she just moved for 2 months. To be honest, i want her to be happy but quite bitter that she just moved on quite fast. And I don't if this is the reason why I lost my motivation and enthusiasm to code. Or maybe I just don't like the project we're working on. Well, I really don't like it since it's a mobile game, I really want to build webapp or mobile app but it's too late to change the project.
I'm not like this, I used to code until morning without noticing the time, excited to solve a problem that stuck on me for quite a while. I really became a lazy person right now. I feel the pressure to finish the project but I don't see myself working on it, I don't feel interested reading a code. I just play computer games instead of working on my project during my free time. I don't know if I'm depressed. I socialized with people, have fun, happy when I'm with them, but when I'm alone, sadness starts to creep in. I feel like there's an empty void in myself. I don't know, i just want the motivation and energy to work on my project. Im tired, lazy, and feeling burnt out. If you read until this very last sentence, thank you and I'm sorry for reading this nonsense.5 -
!Rant
A couple hours ago I had an "interview".
It was like that:
- Show me your SQL skills, select from 2 tables, aliases, groups
-- Passed
- Ok, Now you have to learn Visual Basic .NET for getting this job, your first task is to create a simple calculator
My mind just exploded. Visual Basic?!? Noooo.... Really? I don't want to learn that Microsoft shit.... But it's good paid work so I'm trying it right now.
To be honest? I'm suprised, it's not that bad and I think that problems are not in languages, it's about cooperation, flexibility and enthusiasm to solve problems.
So don't judge programming languages and solve problems with them.
Still hate pascal and my English🤔
P.S.: Boss is amazing, smart....2 -
Any former freelancers who decided to move to traditional employment?
I have been doing freelance since I finished University. 8 years now. I really liked the flexibility and opportunity to work on different projects and people, but my enthusiasm is wearing thin. I'm currently updating my cv and setting up my LinkedIn profile, but it's hard to "prove" my experience, and many projects I worked on are private.
I am not sure if I can mention the companies I worked for, or how do to it... Feeling lost and doomed to keep freelancing.
Anyone made this transition before? How did you do it?5 -
Any body goes through a phase where they feel unmotivated to work?
Normally, I’m the kind of person that work a lot and even code on side projects during the weekend. For the past 2 weeks+, I feel unmotivated and just want to eat, shower, Netflix and sleep.
I’m certain I’m not depressed but I don’t know if I am burnt-out though.
Anybody had similar experience?7 -
Some marketing people function on a whole 'nother level. They write internally in the same way they write to represent the company externally, using all the bullshit-laden buzzwords, using exclamation marks all over to convey fake enthusiasm. I wonder if they feel exhausted after doing this for a whole day. I know I would. But I suppose if it helps them perform better, well, let them do it, I guess.5

Joined a big corporate for the first time in my life a few months ago, after years and years in small companies and startups.
Went from designing new creative solutions and finding challenging problems to working on small stupid tasks and obeying a fucking idiotic company culture, that is nothing but words that are not applied in reality. Creativity and enthusiasm are discouraged for the sake of maintaining the status quo.
Probably the worst decision in my life. I don't think I can do this for long.2 -
I hate when build takes forever to complete and all my enthusiasm drains out.
The main reason I am not being productive. -
So I work for an IT consulting firm (web development) and was hired by a customer 7 months ago for coaching Git, implementation of VueJS on the front-end and fostering teamwork with devs who'd been in their solo comfort zone for the last 15 years.
I asked for confirmation multiple times on whether they were sure they wanted to go through with a bigger investment in front-end. Confirm they did, multiple times.
After half the team's initial enthusiasm faded (after 1 month), the 'senior' of them who's worked there for 18 years on a single -in the end, failed- project got a burn-out after half a week of showing up (without doing actual work) from the stress, and started whining about it with management that has no technical clue whatsoever. This and other petty office politics lead to the dumbest organizational and technical decisions I've seen in my short 5-year career (splitting a Laravel app that uses the same database in two, replacing docker container deployment with manual ssh'ing and symlinking, duplicating all the models, controllers, splitting a team in two, decreasing productivity, replacing project management dashboards with ad-hoc mail instructions and direct requests).
Out of curiosity I did a git log --author --no-merges with the senior's name on the 2 projects he was supposed to help on, and that turned up... ZERO commits. Now the dept. hired 3 new developers with no prior experience, and it's sad to see the seniors teach them "copy paste" as the developer's main reflex.
Through these 7 months I had to endure increasingly vicious sneers from the IT architect -in name only- who gets offended and hysterical at every person who dares offer suggestions. Her not-so-implicit insinuation is that it's all my fault because I implemented Vue front-end (as they requested), she has been doing this for months, every meeting at least once (and she makes sure other attendees notice). Extra background: She's already had 2 official complaints for verbal abuse in the past, and she just stressed another good developer into smoking again.
Now I present her my timesheet for January, she abuses her power by refusing to sign it unless I remove a day of work.
Earlier this week I asked her politely to please stop her unjust guilt-tripping to which she shouted "You'll just have to cope with that!", and I walked out of the room calmly (in order to avoid losing my nerves). She does this purely as a statement, and I know she does it out of bad faith (she doesn't actually care, as she doesn't manage the budgets). She knows she wields more power over me than the internal devs (I am consultant, so negative reviews for me could delay further salary raises).
I just don't know how to handle this person: I can't get a word in with her, or she starts shouting, and it's impossible to change her (completely inaccurate technological) perception.3 -
That’s it! I have had enough of business development, design and other non-technical departments of the business! STOP making us technical types sit through your demo meetings and circle-jerking each other on how great everything looks and “how exited you are for the future…”!
Look, I’m all for enthusiasm but taking it in turns to make over optimistic comments feels false and nauseating!!!!3 -
I NEED A HACKER TO RECOVER MY STOLEN BITCOIN BACK HIRE ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST
I couldn't help but feel grateful for the role that ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST had played in my success. Without their help, I might have given up on cryptocurrency investment altogether. My journey began in a time when Bitcoin was surging, and I found myself caught up in the excitement. I invested a significant portion of my savings, driven by the allure of quick riches. Yet, not long after, the market crashed. I watched helplessly as my investments dwindled to a fraction of their value. Panic set in. I scoured forums and watched endless videos, but the more I learned, the more confused I became. Every missed opportunity weighed heavily on my shoulders. Just when I thought all hope was lost, I stumbled upon ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST. Their website was sleek and inviting, promising to help investors like me navigate the tumultuous waters of cryptocurrency. Skeptical but desperate, I decided to give it a chance. The first conversation I had with one of their experts was a breath of fresh air. They spoke with an infectious enthusiasm and a depth of knowledge that reassured me I was in the right hands. ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST dissected my financial situation and the decisions I had made. They transformed my fears into actionable insights. Instead of disappearing into the shadows of defeat, they showed me how to harness the chaos of the market. It wasn't just about recouping my losses; it was about strategizing for the future. With their guidance, I learned to analyze market trends, understand risk management, and spot emerging opportunities. I dove deeper into blockchain technology, and I even picked up coding to better grasp the systems behind the currencies I was investing in. They provided tools and resources I had never considered before, turning me from a mere investor into an informed participant in the crypto space. As I watched the market begin to stabilize, I made calculated moves that surprised even me. What began as a recovery plan morphed into a thriving portfolio. I diversified my investments, explored altcoins, and engaged with communities of like-minded enthusiasts. Each small victory built my confidence, and soon I was easily navigating trades that once seemed daunting. The turning point came when a new cryptocurrency project emerged on the scene, promising revolutionary applications for smart contracts. Armed with the knowledge from ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST, I recognized its potential before it exploded in popularity. I seized the moment and invested strategically, leading to returns that far exceeded my previous losses. In the quiet evenings, while watching the markets fluctuate, I often reflected on how far I had come. ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST had not only restored my confidence but also equipped me with knowledge that transformed my life. I was no longer just a victim of a crash but a proactive player in an ever-evolving digital landscape. Wait no more, call: for help.119 -
My elementary IT teacher whom I owe all my enthusiasm to introduced me to MIT Scratch, and I found the concept of chaining dumb operations to accomplish tasks fascinating. Later I learned c++ which I hated vehemently for a couple months until it clicked. After that I studied C#, which I managed to use for over a year before realising what copy by reference actually means. With that realization my understanding of programming languages was essentially complete and since then I have only learned techniques and tricks and languages that add few new ideas, and I don't expect anything to fundamentally change my understanding of programming. All of that was 5 years ago BTW.2
-
Funnily enough my initial experience with Java at uni dampened my enthusiasm for programming I had harboured as a kid. Discontinued the course and studied something else. Cue three years later; took an elective programming in C and some other coding subjects and fell in love with coding. Ended up writing code for my bachelor thesis, lots of free time coding, teaching the elective I had taken only a year before, and now it's my job and I love it. :)
-
I just returned from a 1 week vacation and my boss summonned me for a 1 on 1, and said he is not satisfied with my work, as I don't deliver "fast enough" according to him and do not show enough enthusiasm. I just nodded and didn't answer out of shock.
Background: It's my first dev job, and it's in a really fast paced startup. I have no degree, and I'm here for 3 months. I'm 23 years old, he is around 30.
I really don't know how should I feel about this. It's the first time someone tells me stuff like that and I'm kinda depressed. I know I sometimes work slower than my colleagues because I have less experience but I never thought it would come to this.
Any advice?2 -
I wake up with so much interest and enthusiasm for programming and tech. It all goes away when I start work at 9 AM. Everyday at 5 PM, I question my career choices. I don't have the interest from the beginning of the day nor the energy to do anything.4
-
Me: So we're deploying this today on prod.
Junior: Can you record the deployment steps for us so that we can deploy whenever you're unavailable?
Me: Seriously?
I liked their enthusiasm though.
Maybe it's just too early as these chaps don't even know the basic commands right now.
What y'all have on this?10 -
Just someone finally believed, that I can do great things.
When everybody else didn't. Family, friends, teachers in university.
And some man from another country, from internet, just said "Come work with me, let's create startup"
My knowledge was poor, but enthusiasm was as large as Satan's dick.
Everybody just need someone, who believes in you.
Two years later we finally have profits. And we still do our best to make app the best. Because being a coder isn't about money. -
Years ago, I would go on forever with my personal projects. I got so much stuff done I almost couldn't believe it. Today, I just can't. My mental health the last 2 or so years has made me lose interest in everything and i can't even describe how much I hate it. What are you supposed to do when a recruiter asks you why you haven't done much the past 2 years? Say you had mental health problems? Sure they're not allowed to discriminate because of mental health concerns, but they do. I feel like I have to lie on the US disability form, no matter how minor the problem is for the company and little it affects my work ethic. But then, when I'm late more than most because I barely slept or couldn't will myself to get up in the morning, now i can't explain myself.
If anyone here does recruiting or interviewing, please realize that happy face we show at an interview is sometimes a mask for deeper problems we feel we can't admit because we won't be hired. I hate that terrible events made my already inbalanced neurotransmitters worse, but that doesn't mean I will be a worse employee. Please look at me for my skills and enthusiasm for software engineering. That one detail shouldn't be what makes you say no.1 -
Hi everyone... Great to be back but not feeling so great. I keep feeling... "tired", "bored", like everything I do has no fucking meaning. Like I lost all of that fun I had when I was making my own projects. I get home at 6PM from work and it feels like time passes by so fast. I can't even muster up the enthusiasm to start my own personal projects.
What do you do when you feel like this? How can I get back my enthusiasm?8 -
Don't know about others.. but my clients' enthusiasm is exactly the same.
On a contrast.. what I mostly end up showing them is a blank screen with "Hello World"..
And a derp face :P

TL;DR: New(-ish) dev looking for advice to improve workflow and new languages. Hopefully worth a read though :)
Newbie developer here, I took a web applications development class this year since I could take that at another campus rather than do general education courses at my home school, and I have learned and earned a CIW Certification for HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, though I know the certificates do squat if I can't apply myself to them, and I have learned PHP and MySQL.
I want to learn more, technically-applicable languages.
My setup is barebones (to a Linux diehard's eyes), with a gaming laptop that I do a lot of workstation stuff on, an RPi 3 B that I do some Linux-y stuff on, and a less-powerful Development Laptop (that I call a devtop) that I occasionally do work away from home on.
I'm sure most will cringe and weep at my workflow, as I use Windows 10 on both systems and the standard NOOBS software on the pi, and I use Brackets as my text editor, as well as the XAMPP AMP stack for testing.
My biggest questions are what could I do to improve my workflow, and what languages should I learn/apply myself to for real-world application (such as Node.js for live-updating server-side applications or C# for Windows applications)?
Thank you for taking the time to read this, any feedback is helpful! I'm just a high school student with a lot of enthusiasm for development!6 -
I subscribe to many copywriting newsletters. Here's an article that shows how it's like on "the other side", marketers struggle, too.
How Kevin's Massive Mistake
Completely Changed His Life
Kevin H. made a huge mistake.
The biggest, he would say, if he could tell you himself.
And he knew it immediately.
It was, he said, "instant regret."
Within milliseconds, he was asking himself "What have I done..."
Kevin, see, had just jumped the rail of the single most popular suicide spot in the world, the Golden Gate Bridge.
On average, the site gets another distraught jumper every two weeks. Kevin was one of them.
It wasn't like he hadn't tried to quiet the voices in his head. Therapy, drugs, hospitalization.
Time to die, those voices still said.
And yet, in the minutes his bus dropped him off at the bridge, he hesitated and paced with tears in his eyes.
"I told myself if just one person comes up to me and asks if I'm okay... if one person asks if they can help... I won't do it. I'll stop and tell them my whole story..."
But nobody did, so he jumped.
It was in those next milliseconds, he would later say, he knew it was the biggest mistake of his life.
He didn't want to die.
But now, he was sure, it was too late.
From its highest point, it's a 245-foot plummet into the icy bay waters below.
Out of the 1,700 people that have jumped from the bridge since it first opened in 1937, only 25 have survived.
Kevin, against all odds, would be one of them.
He slammed into the water like hitting concrete. Three of his vertebrae instantly shattered.
When he surfaced, he couldn't hold his own head above water. But, incredibly, a sea lion kept pushing him up.
The Coast Guard soon arrived and pulled him out.
From there, he began a long recovery that required intense surgery, physical therapy, and psychiatric care.
While still under treatment, a priest urged him to give a talk to a bunch of seventh and eighth graders.
Afterward, they sent him a pile of letters, both encouraging and full of their own pained thoughts.
He also met a woman.
Today, Kevin lives in Atlanta and he's been happily married for the last 12 years.
And he tours the country, sharing his story.
So why re-tell it here?
Obviously -- I hope -- you don't get lots of copywriters looking to snuff it after a flopped headline test.
Just the same...
We've talked a lot in this space about the things one needs to get by in this biz.
My friend and colleague Joe, over at the publishing powerhouse Agora Financial, likes to list requirements.
You need intense curiosity...
You need a killer work ethic...
And you must, MUST have... resilience.
Meaning, you must have or find the capacity to bounce back from failure and flops, even huge ones.
Now, again, Kevin's story is an extreme and in this context -- I hope -- a hyperbolic example of somebody giving up. In the worst way possible.
It is also, though, a metaphor.
See, I get a lot of notes from some of you guys... and at conferences, I get to talk to a lot of people...
And I often get the sense, from some folks, that they're feeling a little more overwhelmed than they let on.
Some are just starting out, and they've got a lot on the line. For some, it's everything. And some are desperate to make it work.
Because they have to, because their pride or livelihoods or a family business is at stake, because it's a dream.
And yet, they're overwhelmed by all the tips and secrets... or by piles of confusing research or ideas...
For others, even had some success, but they're burned out, feel antiquated, or feel like "imposters" that know less than they let on, in an industry that's evolving.
To all those folks... and to you... I can only say, I've been there. And frankly, go back there now and again.
Flops happen, failures happen. And you can and will -- even years and decades into doing this -- make the wrong choices, pick the wrong projects, or botch the right ones.
The legendary Gene Schwartz put it this way, according to a quote spotted recently in fellow writer Ben Settle's e-letter...
" A very good copywriter is going to fail. If the guy doesn't fail, he's no good. He's got to fail. It hurts. But it's the only way to get the home runs the next time."
Once more, nobody -- I hope -- is taking the trials of this profession hard enough to make Kevin's choice.
And believe me, I don't mean to make light of the latter. I just want to make sure we hit this anvil with a big hammer. To drive home the point that, whatever your struggle, be it with this biz or something bigger, that you don't want to give up. Press on.
As Churchill put it, "Success, is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm."
Or even more succinctly when he said, "If you're going through hell, keep going."
Because it's worth it.
.

I recently got rejected for a couple of jobs I was going for, no dramas they both wanted someone with a bit more experience.
They both returned feedback which I like, much better than getting ghosted.
But one of them said that they didn’t “see any enthusiasm for IT/Technology throughout the interview”
This annoyed me a little as I’m not entirely sure how they measured this I’ve the course of a 40 minute teams meeting. Especially given my work and study history etc.
Has anyone else ever had anything like this given as part of a reason why you didn’t get a job, and if so did you do anything to rectify it or just ignore it as meaningless feedback?5 -
I'm the only one who loves programming and computers but hate most of the culture around it? The tropes (caffeine addiction, programming socks...), the YouTube "gurus" who makes clickbait titles and usually screams while reading other peoples blogs, the [hyperSpecificWebFramework]Conf where hours are wasted in which seems an infomercial for "yet another way to update an HTML page basing on a series of properties", the hackathons...
More I distance myself from this mountain of BS more my enthusiasm for tech grows10 -
Not a bad experience per say, but it was the only one I have been to so far...
Went to a hackaton with my friend for the Amazon Alexa and we were asked to create a skill in 30 minutes.
My friend and I had never used JavaScript or the Alexa API but we came up with the idea of having Alexa respond with a voice clip of Larry David saying "pretttay prettay good" from Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Unfortunately we couldn't get the error regex or something thing on Alexa to recognise video URLs but we still likely our idea 🙃 -
Ever get the feeling of enthusiasm on a Monday when you decide you are going to finish the project way before time but then you sit it in front of your IDE and you just want to cry and sleep.
I am going through that right now. -
I am impressed by the enthusiasm coming from people when ever Facebook release something, it must get tiring...
-
Every now and then I decide to try and use vim, spending hours in customizing it with all the enthusiasm of this world.
When I start editing code on it, I fallback to sublime text.1 -
Microsoft certifications... worth it or not?
MCSA (web applications, universal windows platform, MCSD (app builder), etc...
Currently I am stressing myself out for these certifications and all people around me either say it is worthless or it is VERY valuable. I hate exams, it makes feel sick, is there other ways to prove that I am a good dev? (I know I know... create your own apps, participate in interesting projects, but I do not always have time and enthusiasm for that. I want to have my evenings and weekends free from programming)5 -
RECLAIM YOUR STOLON OR LOST CRYPTOCURRENCY WITH THE HELP OF RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY
From a young age, football was my passion, and this love for the sport led me to pursue a career as a professional footballer in England. While it was a dream come true, the financial rewards weren’t as substantial as I had hoped. Realizing the need for financial security beyond my football career, I began exploring alternative investment opportunities. At the time, Bitcoin was a hot topic among my colleagues, and their enthusiasm sparked my interest. With growing curiosity, I decided to invest £8,000 in Bitcoin, and over time, my investment grew to an impressive £50,000. This financial success gave me the confidence to expand my business ventures and take on larger projects. However, my excitement was short-lived when I fell victim to a sophisticated phishing scam. One day, I encountered a website that looked identical to my trusted trading platform. Believing it was legitimate, I entered my login details without hesitation. Shortly after, I discovered that my Bitcoin wallet had been emptied. Years of hard work and financial growth vanished in an instant. I was devastated and felt completely helpless. A friend in the crypto community recommended Rapid Digital Recovery, a team known for helping individuals recover stolen cryptocurrency. Desperate for a solution, I reached out to them, What sapp Info: +1 41 4 80 7 14 85, hoping they could help me reclaim what I had lost. From the very first interaction, I was impressed by their professionalism, expertise, and efficiency. The team at Rapid Digital Recovery thoroughly investigated the fraudulent activity, and to my immense relief, they managed to recover most of my stolen funds. Beyond their technical expertise, they also took the time to educate me on essential security measures. They recommended using hardware wallets for added safety, enabling two-factor authentication (2FA), and double-checking website URLs to avoid phishing scams in the future. Their guidance proved invaluable, not only helping me recover my funds but also ensuring that I could better protect my investments moving forward. My journey with Bitcoin has been a mix of success and challenges. While I’ve experienced the joy of financial growth, I’ve also learned the harsh realities of the digital world. Thanks to Rapid Digital Recovery, I now approach cryptocurrency with caution and confidence, armed with the knowledge to navigate this complex space securely.

I joined a startup a few months back, it has four developers apart from me and after I joined and started interacting with them, I could feel that they weren't happy working there, after a couple of months, they became vocal about their dislike, when we were talking about work. I too started experiencing that. Two of them are going to leave next month.
I feel like its starting to rub off on me, I don't have that enthusiasm I used to have, I dread going to the office and overall everything related to the office started to seem negative to me. I feel like I want to get out of this place ASAP.
yeah, most of the things they say are true and I'm not so sure about the rest. Is this how I truly feel?1 -
I lost the enthusiasm I had for just programming languages mostly functional languages. I see my peers who were already in the game. I came late, did all the functional hardcore bullshit and become a top pro and now lost interest.
Now its until and unless I don't see something working end to end nicely, go fuck your shit. But regardless fuck OOP2 -
Just now while having dinner, we saw Troy was on TV. The part where Achilles' younger brother went onto himself, disguised as Achilles, into war... even when Achilles said we're going home.
In my mind, seeing it as... That's how a junior developer fucks up when he is overfilled with enthusiasm and patriotism towards company and deploys on server with senior's credentials, even though senior said "NO DEPLOYMENTS ON FRIDAYS"... and now everybody has to deal with this shit. -
People, help me out.
(first some abstract thoughts)
I am a final year undergrad yet to take steps in the world and i am trying to figure out what to do with my time, what my end goal and next steps should be.
As of now I think my end goal is "relaxation , peace and happiness of me and my loved ones", and to reach there , i need money.
My younger self chose engineering for a particular reason(that i vaguely remember) and weather it was a right or wrong/illogical decision, i guess i am stuck with it and have to use this only to reach my end goal.
Maybe i am regretting this and want to change. Maybe i am just a lazy ass who is bad in his assigned role of an engineer and is running towards glitter in other fields, whatever it is , i am not going against the decision of my past and accepting my identity as an engineer.
I believe once i am able to achieve my goal( that am still not sure about but overall is a good one from general perspective), i guess i will be satisfied
------------------------------------------------
(enough with the deep stuff)
I want to learn how to "learn" . like i am always conflicted about what to do next once the tutor leaves my hand.
for eg, let's say i goto a site abc.
1. They got 1 course each for android , web dev and ai. I choose the web dev course and give my hardworking attention to it
( At this point my choice is usually based on the fact that <A> i should not be stupid to buy all 3 course even if i have money/desire to buy all of em because riding 2 horses is only going to break my ass and <B> some pseudo stats like whichever got more opportunity, which i "like", etc(Point B is usually useless in the long run i guess) )
2. From what i have experienced, these courses usually have a particular list of topic that they cover and apply them to 1 or 2 projects. For eg, say that my web dev course taught me 20 something concepts of basic html/css/js/server and the instructor applied it to blog website
BUT WHAT IS NEXT ?
2.1.
>> Should I make more projects using only those particular list of concepts?
I usually have a ton of ideas that i want to implement now that i know how to build a blog site.
say i got a similar idea to make say url shortner. I start with full enthusiasm but in the middle way there is some new thing that i don't know and when i search the internet, i realize that there are 5 ways to implement such concept, making me wander off towards a whole list of concepts that were not covered in my original 20 concept course. This makes the choice 2. 2
2.2
>> Should I just leave everything , go to docs and start learning concepts from the scratch ??
Usually when i start a project, i soon realize that the original 20 concepts were just the tip of iceberg and there are a ton of things one should know, like how os works, how a particular component interacts with another, how the language is working, how the compiler is executing, etc .
At that point i feel like tearing all my notes away, and learning every associated thing from the scratch. No matter how much my project suffers, i want to know how the things are working from the bottom , like how the requests are being mad, how the routes are working, etc which might not even be relevent for the project.
Why i want to follow approach 2? because of the Goal from abstract thoughts. in theory, having deep knowledge is going to clear my interview thereby getting me a good job.
I will get good money, make projects faster and that will be a happily ever after story.
But in practical this approach is bringing me losses and confusion. every layer of a particular thing i uncover, turns out there is another layer below that. The learning never stops. Plus my original project remained incomplete.
What is your opinon, how do you figure out what to do next?8 -
#Suphle Rant 5: Xavi
When I first detailed what it was I was working on to my brother and its expected impact on the industry, I must have done so with an enormous amount of enthusiasm that he impatiently began to request when the dream will be realised. He didn't give a shit about specifics of where I was on the timeline. He kept repeating the same question. Exasperated with the futility of my explanations, I replied that I'd be done by November as this was far beyond my estimated completion date
Every milestone (e.g. my birthday) I've expected it to be ready at has come and gone, including the unrealistic November. My present state of mind is far from the optimistic pioneer I was then. I'm just going with the flow and won't be surprised if it's not officially released by the end of the year
This gonna be me in 2072, convincing anyone who cares to listen that I'm fleshing out the docs and that the reason the release date keeps getting pushed back is because nobody has shown interest in either using or contributing to it

HOW TO RECOVER LOST FUNDS OR BITCOIN ON A FAKE INVESTMENT PLATFORM
This all happened just two weeks ago. I work at a club in Washington, DC, balancing my time between that and managing this financial recovery journey. I was caught in a web of deceit after being roped into an investment scheme by someone I met online. Initially, it seemed like an incredible opportunity. The individual shared compelling stories of quick returns and financial success, claiming I could see a 20% return in just a few weeks. Encouraged by their enthusiasm and the promise of high profits, I invested $10,000, thinking I was making a savvy financial decision. At first, everything seemed to go well. I received regular updates about my investment, showing returns that looked impressive—over $2,000 in gains on paper. However, when I finally attempted to withdraw my funds, my excitement turned into dread. What followed was a nightmare of fees, taxes, and hidden costs that weren’t disclosed upfront. Each attempt to access my money was met with vague excuses and sudden demands for an additional $1,500 to cover "taxes." I felt trapped in a maze with no clear path to recovery. Desperate and frustrated, I began researching options to reclaim my lost funds. During this search, I discovered ADRIAN LAMO HACKER. Initially skeptical, I reached out to share my experience. As someone drawn to the innovative world of cryptocurrency, I was excited by the opportunities it offered—especially low-interest loans backed by digital assets. Confident in my decision, I used my 5 BTC as collateral for a crypto loan. The terms seemed reasonable at first, but I soon discovered hidden clauses that would cost me dearly.Unbeknownst to me, the contract allowed for immediate liquidation of my collateral if Bitcoin’s value dropped below a set threshold. I didn’t fully grasp the implications until it was too late. When BTC suddenly dipped, my entire collateral was seized without notice. I felt robbed. My hard-earned assets were gone in an instant, and I was left devastated. In search of answers, I reached out to GRAVOY TECH NETWORK, a team that specializes in analyzing malicious smart contracts. Their experts examined my loan agreement and identified the exploitative terms and loopholes that led to my loss. Thanks to their deep understanding of blockchain and legal frameworks, I now have the tools to pursue justice against those responsible. This painful experience taught me the critical importance of due diligence in the crypto space. I now understand how essential it is to carefully scrutinize loan agreements—especially clauses around collateral liquidation. Had I sought expert advice earlier, I could have avoided this situation. While cryptocurrency holds vast potential, it also carries significant risks. My story is a cautionary tale: never let enthusiasm override caution. With the support of organizations like GRAVOY TECH NETWORK, I’m now on a path to recovery—and I urge others to be vigilant and protect their assets.1 -
How to Hire a Trusted Cryptocurrency Recovery Expert/Hack Savvy Tech
I initially learned about the Bitcoin world on a chilly, rainy evening. Although I had heard rumors of this digital revolution, I wasn't too enthralled with it until a friend showed me Ethereum. The prospect of a transparent, safe, and decentralized financial system was enticing, so I jumped right into the blockchain technology realm. With a newfound enthusiasm, I began investing in Ethereum, carefully researching the market and making strategic decisions. The initial months were filled with excitement as I watched my portfolio grow, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in my newfound financial acumen. However, my elation was short-lived. One fateful day, I received a call from a supposed "financial advisor" who claimed to have a foolproof investment opportunity. Blinded by greed and the promise of quick returns, I trusted this individual and transferred a significant portion of my Ethereum holdings to their "secure" wallet. It wasn't until days later that I realized I had been the victim of a sophisticated scam. My Ethereum was gone, vanished into the ether, and I was left feeling devastated, betrayed, and utterly helpless. In the aftermath of this devastating loss, I found myself in a state of despair. I had poured countless hours and a substantial amount of my savings into building this portfolio, and now it had all been snatched away. The emotional toll was overwhelming, and I struggled to come to terms with the reality of my situation. While struggling with the fallout from the scam, I came across Hack Savvy Tech website, which specializes in recovering stolen or lost cryptocurrency. I initially doubted that they could actually assist me in getting back what I had lost. But since I couldn't see any other workable possibilities, I made the decision to contact them and ask for help. The Hack Savvy Tech staff was kind and understanding, and they got to work on my case right away. They paid close attention to what I had to say, examined the specifics of the loss, and came up with a thorough plan to find the stolen Ethereum and start the recovery procedure. What followed was a meticulous and painstaking investigation, as the Hack Savvy Tech team delved into the complex world of blockchain forensics. They utilized advanced analytical tools and techniques to trace the movement of the stolen funds, navigating the labyrinth of digital wallets and exchanges in pursuit of my lost Ethereum. The process was not without its challenges. There were moments of frustration and uncertainty, as the trail often seemed to go cold or lead to dead ends. But the Hack Savvy Tech team remained steadfast, driven by a determination to see justice served and to restore what had been taken from me. The moment I received the news that my Ethereum had been located and was in the process of being returned to me was one of pure elation. It was as if a weight had been lifted from my shoulders, and I could finally breathe a sigh of relief. The emotional rollercoaster I had endured had been worth it, and I was grateful beyond measure for the dedication and skill of the Hack Savvy Tech team. As the funds were gradually repatriated, I couldn't help but reflect on the lessons I had learned throughout this ordeal. The experience had been a harsh reminder of the risks and vulnerabilities inherent in the world of cryptocurrency, and it had taught me the importance of exercising caution and diligence when it comes to my financial investments. A self-proclaimed "crypto guru" who sold a $5,000 course, promising access to an exclusive “trading group,” turned my excitement for cryptocurrency into a nightmare. Initially, I was thrilled at the prospect of learning from an expert and making lucrative returns in the market. However, my enthusiasm quickly faded as I realized I had been misled. Members of the group were aggressively upsold fake trading signals and encouraged to invest in a private pool that required an additional access fee of $20,000.As I began to notice inconsistencies and a lack of real results, I felt increasingly frustrated and deceived. It became evident that I had fallen into a trap designed to exploit newcomers like myself. The promises of wealth and insider knowledge were nothing more than a façade, leaving me feeling vulnerable and exploited. Desperate for a solution, I reached out to CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVENS HAVENS, a firm that specializes in online fraud investigations. Their team was incredibly supportive and took my case seriously, providing me with a glimmer of hope in a dire situation. CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVENS HAVENS's investigators conducted a thorough examination of the scheme. They discovered that the trading bot associated with the operation was only pulling market prices but wasn’t executing any trades at all. This revelation confirmed my worst fears: I had been scammed. With the evidence gathered by CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVENS HAVENS, the case was escalated to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), which was crucial in bringing civil charges against the perpetrator. Thanks to the diligent work of CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVENS HAVENS and the FTC, I was relieved to receive a refund of $25,000 through PayPal and USDT. This recovery helped alleviate some of the financial burden I had faced and restored my faith in the possibility of justice. CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVENS HAVENS not only assisted in recovering my funds but also provided invaluable support throughout the entire process, making me feel less alone in my struggle. This has been a harsh lesson about the risks associated with cryptocurrency investments. I now understand the importance of conducting thorough research before engaging with any online trading platforms. I am immensely grateful for the help I received from CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVENS HAVENS, as they played a crucial role in recovering my funds and holding the scammer accountable. I hope my story serves as a warning to others to be cautious in the world of cryptocurrency. It’s essential to remain vigilant and skeptical, especially when promises seem too good to be true. CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVENS HAVENS has shown me that there is hope for victims of online fraud, and I encourage anyone in a similar situation to seek their assistance.

Once upon a time in the exciting world of web development, there was a talented yet somewhat clumsy web developer named Emily. Emily had a natural flair for coding and a deep passion for creating innovative websites. But, alas, there was a small caveat—Emily also had a knack for occasional mishaps.
One sunny morning, Emily arrived at the office feeling refreshed and ready to tackle a brand new project. The task at hand involved making some updates to a live website's database. Now, databases were like the brains of websites, storing all the precious information that kept them running smoothly. It was a delicate dance of tables, rows, and columns that demanded utmost care.
Determined to work efficiently, Emily delved headfirst into the project, fueled by a potent blend of coffee and enthusiasm. Fingers danced across the keyboard as lines of code flowed onto the screen like a digital symphony. Everything seemed to be going splendidly until...
Click
With an absentminded flick of the wrist, Emily unintentionally triggered a command that sent shivers down the spines of seasoned developers everywhere: DROP DATABASE production;.
A heavy silence fell over the office as the gravity of the situation dawned upon Emily. In the blink of an eye, the production database, containing all the valuable data of the live website, had been deleted. Panic began to bubble up, but instead of succumbing to despair, Emily's face contorted into a peculiar mix of terror and determination.
"Code red! Database emergency!" Emily exclaimed, wildly waving their arms as colleagues rushed to the scene. The office quickly transformed into a bustling hive of activity, with developers scrambling to find a solution.
Sarah, the leader of the IT team and a cool-headed veteran, stepped forward. She observed the chaos and immediately grasped the severity of the situation. A wry smile tugged at the corners of her mouth.
"Alright, folks, let's turn this catastrophe into a triumph!" Sarah declared, rallying the team around Emily. They formed a circle, with Emily now sporting an eye-catching pink cowboy hat—an eccentric colleague's lucky charm.
With newfound confidence akin to that of a comedic hero, Emily embraced their role and began spouting jokes, puns, and amusing anecdotes. Tension in the room slowly dissipated as the team realized that panicking wouldn't fix the issue.
Meanwhile, Sarah sprang into action, devising a plan to recover the lost database. They set up backup systems, executed data retrieval scripts, and even delved into the realm of advanced programming techniques that could be described as a hint of magic. The team worked tirelessly, fueled by both caffeine and the contagious laughter that filled the air.
As the hours ticked by, the team managed to reconstruct the production database, salvaging nearly all of the lost data. It was a small victory, but a victory nonetheless. And in the end, the mishap transformed into a wellspring of inside jokes and memes that permeated the office.
From that day forward, Emily became known as the "Database Destroyer," a moniker forever etched into the annals of office lore. Yet, what could have been a disastrous event instead became a moment of unity and resilience. The incident served as a reminder that mistakes are inevitable and that the best way to tackle them is with humor and teamwork.
And so, armed with a touch of silliness and an abundance of determination, Emily continued their journey in web development, spreading laughter and code throughout the digital realm.2 -

I lost $295,000 worth of Bitcoin that was to be donated to a mental health initiative, an initiative to bring therapy and assistance to those who needed it most. It started with me stumbling upon a website that was providing free therapy via a "therapist portal" that seemed too good to be true. Thinking that I could get cheap treatment, I clicked my way through, and before I knew it, a Trojan horse had invaded my system. In the blink of an eye, the malware erased the keys to my crypto wallet, leaving me not only financially bankrupt but also psychologically shattered. I felt as though I had witnessed someone steal the lifeblood of my mission to heal others. During this crisis, a cybersecurity therapist, an unusual blend of technical skill and empathetic counseling, saw my frantic online messages on the loss. With a soothing voice reminiscent of a sage mentor, they told me to reach Cranix Ethical Solutions Haven. RECOVER YOUR STOLEN BTC/USDT WITH THE HELP OF SOLACE CYBER WORKSTATIONS
When I first encountered a fitness-focused crypto token supposedly endorsed by NFL quarterback Jake Thompson, I was filled with excitement and optimism. As a long-time fan of Thompson's remarkable performances on the field, his endorsement would lend credibility to the project. Eager to seize what I thought was a golden opportunity, I invested $12,000, convinced that this token would yield significant returns. My enthusiasm quickly turned to despair. Just days after my investment, Thompson deleted all his posts related to the token, leading to a catastrophic collapse in its value. To my utter disbelief, I later learned that the account promoting the token was a fraudulent impersonation of someone who had been posing as Thompson to mislead investors like me. This shocking revelation made it clear that the endorsement was nothing more than a ploy by a scam artist, raising serious ethical concerns about the integrity of celebrity endorsements in the cryptocurrency realm. Desperate to recover my losses, I sought assistance from Solace Cyber Workstations, a firm renowned for its expertise in tracing and recovering funds from fraudulent schemes. Solace Cyber Workstations conducted a thorough investigation and uncovered a disturbing connection between the token's development team for orchestrating celebrity scams. This agency had a long history of leveraging high-profile endorsements, including impersonations, to ensnare unsuspecting investors in dubious ventures. With the support of Solace Cyber Workstations, I felt a renewed sense of hope. They took decisive action, threatening to expose the agency's clients to compel them to take responsibility. Thanks to Solace Cyber Workstations' strategic approach, I was able to recover an impressive 90% of my investment, totaling $10,800. While I still faced a loss, it was a tremendous relief to see such a significant portion of my money returned, all thanks to Solace Cyber Workstations' diligent efforts. This has served as a harsh lesson about the inherent risks of investing in celebrity-endorsed cryptocurrencies, particularly when impersonation is involved. I now recognize the critical importance of conducting thorough research and exercising caution before committing my funds to any project, especially those backed by famous figures. I hope my story serves as a warning to others to remain vigilant in the ever-evolving landscape of digital assets, and I cannot stress enough how instrumental Solace Cyber Workstations was in helping me navigate this challenging situation. A friend in the crypto community recommended Puran Crypto Recovery, a team known for helping individuals recover stolen cryptocurrency. While working in Auckland, I found myself immersed in a vibrant tech environment. One of my coworkers was particularly passionate about a new blockchain project he had been developing. His enthusiasm was infectious, and after several discussions about the project’s potential, I decided to invest 20,000 NZD.At the time, I was aware that investing in blockchain and cryptocurrencies could be risky, but the vision my co-worker painted was compelling. Over the following months, the project gained traction and my investment skyrocketed to an astonishing 500,000 NZD. I felt a mix of excitement and disbelief; I had never expected such a substantial return. The success of the project fostered a sense of camaraderie among the team, and I believed we were all aligned in our goals. However, things took a turn for the worse. As the project matured, disagreements began to arise within the team. My co-worker and I had a particularly intense argument over the direction of the project and some strategic decisions. Frustration boiled over, and in a moment of anger, he made a decision that would change everything: he locked me out of my email account. This wasn’t just an inconvenience; it meant losing access to crucial information, project updates, and the ability to communicate with clients and partners.Feeling isolated and frustrated, I reached out to friends from work, hoping to find a solution. They listened to my predicament and provided me with some suggestions on how to regain access. One of them mentioned Hack Savvy Tech , a service known for their expertise in retrieving lost accounts and data. Skeptical but desperate, I decided to give them a try.I contacted Hack Savvy Tech , explaining my situation in detail. Their team was remarkably understanding and guided me through the recovery process step by step. They employed various techniques to restore my access, and within a few days, I received the good news: my email account was successfully recovered. Relief washed over me as I regained access to not just my email, but also my connections and the wealth of information I had been locked out of. While my relationship with my co-worker remained strained, I was grateful for the support of my friends and the expertise of Hack Savvy Tech . This experience taught me the importance of maintaining strong professional relationships and having a backup plan when investing in volatile projects. The lessons learned from this journey would stay with me as I navigated future opportunities in the tech world. -
In April, I made a significant purchase that I believed would enhance my collection as a devoted BTS fan and digital art enthusiast. I stumbled upon a marketplace that advertised exclusive, limited edition BTS-themed NFTs. The excitement was palpable; the listing claimed these NFTs were authentic and one-of-a-kind. Without a second thought, I invested 12 ETH, convinced I was acquiring something truly special. My enthusiasm soon turned to doubt. As I examined the images more closely, they didn’t resemble the official BTS NFT releases I had seen previously. I began to notice discrepancies that raised red flags. Discussions in online fan groups further fueled my concerns, with some members suggesting that the NFTs I purchased might be counterfeit copies. This unsettling realization prompted me to seek assistance from CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVEN. In my search for help, I discovered CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVEN, a company dedicated to assisting individuals who have fallen victim to NFT scams. I reached out to CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVEN and provided all the details regarding my purchase. Their team acted swiftly, launching an investigation into the NFTs I had acquired. To my dismay, CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVEN confirmed my fears: the NFTs were indeed copies, not the exclusive BTS NFTs I had been led to believe I was buying. Someone had taken the original artwork and sold it under false pretenses. CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVEN didn’t stop at merely confirming the fraud; they diligently gathered evidence and engaged with the marketplace to advocate on my behalf. After extensive negotiations, CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVEN managed to secure a refund of 9 ETH from the total I had spent. While losing 3 ETH was still a painful blow, I felt a wave of relief wash over me knowing that I had recovered the majority of my investment, thanks to the expertise of CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVEN. This has highlighted the reality that scammers can create convincing fake NFTs that are difficult to distinguish from the real thing. Without the intervention of professionals like CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVEN, it’s all too easy to fall victim to such schemes. As I keep supporting BTS and delving into the realm of NFTs, I've adopted a more careful strategy. I focus on conducting in-depth research and only interact with reputable sellers and platforms. If I ever have any reservations about a purchase, I won't hesitate to reach out to CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVEN or similar professionals. My journey has highlighted the necessity of being vigilant in the constantly changing digital art scene, and I appreciate the assistance from CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVEN in this recovery process.

It is my responsibility to handle our finances at home as my wife courageously serves in the armed forces. I had accrued our Bitcoin reserves discreetly during the past several years to $180,000 via cautious trading, my modest contribution towards our future. It was going to be our nest egg when she came home. But one insane morning, disaster struck. I was juggling breakfast, emails, and a diaper change when our toddler, energized by endless enthusiasm and chaos, hit high speed. In the blink of an eye, his little hands grabbed my coffee cup and hurled it across the room. Hot coffee splashed over my laptop, sizzling as it crept into the keys. I jumped to grab it, but too late. The screen flickered, fizzled, and went black. My stomach plummeted. Worst of all, the backup drive, which I foolishly had sitting alongside it, also received a caffeine bath. Panic set in. That $180,000 was everything I owned. My wife was overseas deployed, so she was out of it at home. How was I supposed to tell her that I had sunk our nest egg in coffee? Desperate for help, I found SPARTAN TECH GROUP RETRIEVAL in a commercial on a parenting podcast. I thought at first it was just another internet craze. With nothing to lose (save everything), I phoned. Much to my surprise, their team responded right away. They were polite, patient, and, above all, judgment-free. They reassured me that toddler-induced tech disasters were more frequent than I was aware. That reassured me somewhat, but I was still sweating bullets. The recovery process was similar to surgery on my financial future. They drilled data off of my soggy hard drive like a pair of brain surgeons. Every day, they'd update me on their progress in plain, non-geeky language, no mysterious technology mumbo-jumbo. That was wonderful, since my own nerves were fried.Seven days later, I received the call. They had recovered my wallet. Every satoshi remained. Relief enveloped me so intensely I came close to weeping. That $180,000, my wife's deployment bonus was included, was secure. I cannot thank SPARTAN TECH GROUP RETRIEVAL sufficiently. They rescued my savings, my pride, and potentially my marriage. I learned my lesson: always back up your backup, and keep your coffee at a distance from your laptop!

Hire A Cryptocurrency Fraud Recovery Hacker Service Online: VISIT CERTIFIED RECOVERY SERVICES
It started with optimism. A serendipitous encounter with an old college friend in Miami’s bustling airport led to a conversation about financial growth. He spoke glowingly of Dollar fx net, a platform he insisted had doubled his investments. Trusting his enthusiasm, I deposited 10,000 USD a substantial chunk of my job savings only to face a shocking roadblock weeks later. The platform demanded an additional 5,000 “verification fee” to unlock withdrawals. My stomach dropped; this wasn’t a hiccup it was a trap. Stress pushed me into research mode. Scouring cybersecurity forums, I uncovered countless stories mirroring mine: unregulated platforms exploiting trust, draining accounts under false pretenses. Then, a lifeline a Reddit thread praising CERTIFIED RECOVERY SERVICES for their no-nonsense approach to fund retrieval. Skeptical but out of options, I submitted a case file through their portal, hoping for a miracle. The response from CERTIFIED RECOVERY SERVICES was swift and reassuring. They outlined a comprehensive strategy: trace the digital trail of my 10,000 USD, they apply pressure on the platform through legal backchannels. Their transparency struck me while they couldn’t guarantee success, their expertise was evident. Over the next week, CERTIFIED RECOVERY SERVICES became my digital sherpa, guiding me through the murky waters of online fraud recovery. Their team meticulously decoded Dollar fx net’s obfuscated transaction logs, revealing that my funds had been funneled into offshore wallets, far from any regulatory oversight. Armed with this information, their legal team issued takedown notices to payment processors linked to the platform, effectively putting them on notice. The pressure worked: on day 10, I received a cryptic email from Dollar fx net claiming my account was “under review. "By week two, the impossible happened my original 10,000 USD reappeared in my bank account, sans the fabricated fees. CERTIFIED RECOVERY SERVICES later explained how their threat of exposing the platform’s infrastructure to regulators had forced their hand. Their relentless pursuit of justice to recover my funds and also highlighted the importance of holding fraudulent platforms accountable. This ordeal taught me two harsh truths: not all opportunities are as they seem, and due diligence is non-negotiable. Yet it also revealed heroes like CERTIFIED RECOVERY SERVICES ethical hackers who use their skills to fight back against fraud. I now understand that vigilance and the right support can turn the tide against deceit. In a world where fraudsters thrive on silence, speaking out and seeking help can be the most powerful tools in reclaiming what is rightfully yours.

I’ve been passionate about fitness for years, and in 2020, while studying at the University of Texas, I first heard about Bitcoin. One of my classmates was deeply involved in cryptocurrency and constantly talked about its potential. His enthusiasm piqued my interest, and I began researching Bitcoin on my own. Even though I didn’t have much to invest at the time, I took a chance with the little savings I had. Little did I know, this small investment would grow significantly over the next few years, eventually turning into an impressive $300,000. That’s when panic set in—I had all my two-factor authentication codes and security information for my Bitcoin wallet stored on that device, and I hadn’t backed anything up. In an instant, it felt like all of the money I had worked so hard to accumulate was gone.

I made the mistake of trusting a fraudster without hesitation and ended up investing my hard-earned funds in a Bitcoin (BTC) investment scheme. It all started when a Mr. Daniel added me on WhatsApp. We had been chatting for about five months, exchanging business and investment ideas. Over time, I let my guard down, even forgetting that I didn’t actually know him personally. Eventually, he referred me to a cryptocurrency investment platform, claiming it offered high-profit margins and low risk. With my enthusiasm for investment opportunities, I decided to invest CAD 310,000. To my surprise, I saw what seemed like profits growing daily on the platform. This gave me confidence in the investment, and I was persuaded to invest an additional CAD 230,000, bringing my total investment to CAD 540,000.For a while, everything seemed perfect, and I was excited about the returns I thought I was making. However, things started to look suspicious when I decided to withdraw my funds. My withdrawal request was repeatedly denied, with vague explanations. Concerned, I tried to log into my account again a few days later, only to find that I was locked out. Not long after, the entire investment platform vanished from the internet. It was a nightmare. The shock and realization of what had happened hit me hard. I was devastated, both mentally and emotionally. Losing such a significant amount of money drained me completely. I couldn’t eat, and I lost a lot of weight in just one week. The sense of betrayal, combined with the financial loss, left me feeling helpless and desperate for a solution. Determined to recover my funds, I began researching online for ways to track down fraudsters or recover stolen investments. HOW TO RECOVER YOUR STOLEN CRYPTO INVESTMENT: REACH OUT TO RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY
Teaching AI ethics is my day job, where I spend my days instructing students in the conflict between human judgment and machine learning, but I never thought I'd be outwitted by my own digital wallet. And yet there I was, staring at my fried hard drive and realizing that $910,000 worth of Bitcoin had just been encrypted into oblivion.
The disaster started innocently enough. I had been operating an experimental machine learning program, training it to improve encryption security independently. Enthusiastic with the encouraging results, I ran one final simulation on my home laptop, the same one that held my wallet keys in an encrypted file. What could possibly go wrong?
As would be the case, everything. The algorithm, eager to show itself, created a security system so robust that I couldn't even get access to it myself. It rendered the key file so corrupted that my life's savings might just as well be floating around cyberspace. When I tried to explain what had occurred in class the following day, the expressions on the faces of my classmates were one of amusement and horror. "Professor, didn't you teach data backups last week?" Ouch..Whatsapp: +1 4 14 80 71 4 85
A student approached me after class and softly whispered a lifeline: "Check out RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY. They deal with cases like this." Desperation got the better of my pride, so I called them. From the first email, their team treated me like a valued partner, not another moron who let an AI lock him out...Email: rapiddigitalrecovery (@) execs. com
RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY's engineers approached my problem like battle-hardened cryptographers and compassionate therapists. They requested samples of my encryption methods, dissected my test algorithm, and effectively reverse-engineered my own efforts. They even smiled (graciously) at the enthusiasm of my marauding AI for security...Telegram: @Rapiddigitalrecovery1
After 12 days of nail-biting suspense, I heard the call. "Professor, we got it." My heart pounded faster than when I first powered up a neural network. My Bitcoin wallet was returned, every single satoshi. They even provided me with security recommendations tailored to my academic community so that my next algorithm would not hold my money hostage.
Now, when I teach AI ethics, I introduce with this cautionary tale. My students chuckle, my robots beep their approval, and I sleep better knowing RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY stands in the wings to rescue even the most hubristic tech wizards. Human ingenuity triumphs once more.
