They said one reason they took me was the fact I have a github profile and published some things there... And I never intended this to be the case nor do I think I published anything meaningful there.
The company is awesome, they're open sourcing a lot of their tools/sending prs to libraries/frameworks they use. And one can choose the OS to work with as an employee 👌6 -

You know a shitty recruiter when he/she offers you a job because 'I analyzed your github profile and noticed your extensive expertise in PHP', although all you did was cloning an extremly large PHP project and made one commit over thousands of lines of code which you simply generated through a fully automated php5 to php7 converter.

I’m currently working on the profile view in JoyRant, which turns out to be much more work than I thought.
Anyway, after many iterations on the appearance, I’m now finally satisfied about how it looks and works. Especially the category picker (Rants, ++’s, Comments, Favorites).
What do you think? Do you like it?

I think it is so sad you can't use your devRant icon on other sites. I know you could download them but the whole point is anonymous ranting so if someone know your picture they know who you are. I love the devRant icons <33

The founder of the company saw my profile in linkedin. He dm me and said that he and his co founder reviewed my profile and saying that they were interested to hire me because my profile was good. And after a week. I officially joined the team, eventually the person that contacted me admitted that he's msg is just templated and sent to all related developers. I realize that they didnt even check my portfolio I thought they appreciate it. FML!

Only "Subscribe to User" is missing but it will be added later.

Bug (or feature ?) report
I don't know if it's a bug, a feature, and something that just happens to me.. When I view someone's profile and I want to scroll down to see the rants, the "first scroll" stops at the end of the profile. Then I can scroll down more. And after, if I want to see the profile again I can't scroll up. I ended up finding out that tapping the username lets us see the profile again. I'd like to point this out because the behavior seems kinda weird to me, I don't know what others think about it5 -

Literally facepalm when seeing my company coding used Email as an identity to retrieve profile data etc. Yet the profile is allow user to interchange their email.
What is this kind sorcery is this? Why don't just plainly use the UID to retrieve profile instead, as simple as that. Is UNIQUE!!!

So I sign up for this fancy pants website were developers rant about shit. They ask me bunch of data mining personal questions upfront like a marketing bitch so I go through and fill out my profile. Ok it's a social site, whatever and nobody gives a fuck about me anyway. I hit save, continue and go to click the email that injects my lies into their database. But I figure I might go back and fix some of the lies I wrote about myself just in case Google craws it and somebody I meet in the future calls me liar. So I spend 10 minutes trying to navigate the whole website to find a way to get back there to edit the lies or even perhaps find some site help relating to profiles. Of course the profile page itself does not do this profile edit stuff and bugger me if there is no help at all on how to use this website. So I did the only thing I could and wrote this rant in the hope somebody knows how the fuck I cover my tracks on devrant.com4

We had serverside profiles at school. And at one day someone forgot to sign off. So me, the bored dev apprentice, wrote a cmd Programm which spammed every folder with a txt file with contents like "Sign off next time!" Then wrote that sentence to a desktop file until the drive was full.
They had to restore a server backup since that appearantly fucked the system1 -

My schools, university, and my previous company all use a profile picture with an ugly logo in LinkedIn that says something like "50 years.." or "80 years of..".

I dont know if its a feature or bug or just me, but if i go on someone's profile and scroll down to check the rants, i cant scroll up trough the top last rant. It stops exactly, when i reach the bar (rants, ++, comments, etc..). I have to click or touch this bar at least ones to come over it, to scroll further up to the profile description, pic etc.
ps: I'm using an galaxy s7 with Nougat7 -

@dfox since I can't append images in Feedback, I'm letting you know through here. When the logo shows up for loading in profiles, if they aren't collapsed, it overlaps the rest of the profile. I think that the logo should be lowered to reflect the extended profile summary.

Does anyone know how to fix my current issue, because this seems to be a very obscure case.
current situation: user is logged in on our app and wants to add a link to their "instagram" profile.
The user presses "add profile" button and has to fill in their username.
Issue: users dont know their username, or misspell them(this causes users to lose interest)
What we want it to be:
already logged in user presses "add" and gets directed to the social media in question to authorize our app which then returns a link to the users profile3 -

How to write a great resume and Linkedin when im playing 3 roles at my current job?
Iwear many hats right now on my Job (you can check my LinkedIn, the link is on my devRant profile).
Right now im looking forward change job in 3 months or so, mostly due to non flexible working hours and somewhat toxic environment.
The problem im facing right now, id how to put all the stuff im doing right now in my profile without it sounding crazy or something like that.
I also see companies open positions for very specific roles, so i dont know how write a resume to apply to a job without excluding half of my skills from it to looks "specialized".
Other factor is that i really have fun doing diverse things on my Job, it is boring for me do a single thing for months.
How can i include everything i know in my resume? or what job title can resume all my expertise?
