micromanager: "Quick and easy win! Please have this done in 2-3 days to start repairing your reputation"
ticket: "Scrap this gem, and implement your own external service wrapper using the new and vastly different Slack API!"
slack: "New API? Give me bearer tokens! Don't use that legacy url crap, wth"
prev dev: "Yeah idk what a bearer token is. Have the same url instead, and try writing it down so you don't forget it?"
Slack admin: "I can't give you access to the slack integration test app, even though it's for exactly this and three others have access already, including your (micro)manager."
Slack: "You can also <a>create a new slack app</a>!" -- link logs me into slack chat instead. After searching and finding a link elsewhere: doesn't let me.
Slack admin: "You want a new test slack app instead? Sure, build it the same as before so it isn't abuseable. No? Okay, plan a presentation for it and bring security along for a meeting on Friday and I'll think about it. I'm in some planning meetings until then."

This job is endless delays, plus getting yelled at over the endless delays.
At least I can start on the code while I wait. Can't test anything for at least a week, though. =/18 -
I get a call from a client at 7 PM:
- Client: We have a business partner that just visited the website you just made for us and he said it was absolutely terrible, things are not showing up, layout is all messed up... *sends photo*. This is a VERY important new business partner and this will affect our relationship and image. Fix it NOW!
- Me: ok? I will check ... *proceed to check on several browsers and versions*
- Me: I checked on all modern browsers, cleaned cache, tried from multiple devices, it seems to be fine. What browser is your partner visiting the site from?
- Client: Idk, let me ask ...
- Client: Internet Explorer
- Me: ... that browser is not even supported anymore wth?!
- Client: We need it fixed!
- Me: ... *proceeds and hacks for IE website until 6 AM*7 -
Just had a discussion with a coworker. I noticed he was storing dates as string in mongodb, saying it was better for comparison and because he stored them in UTC. WTH, mongo already stores all dates in UTC and a string date is imposible to compare. I wasted 8 hours finding that last part out.6

Dev: Woah look at this code! I might be a genius!
Also dev a few months later: Woah WTH is this shit? Was I totally dumb or what?2 -
Bad dev habit…
I am still learning like super fresh —
Second week of class.
But I am also looking at things and getting overwhelmed because I’m like idk wth that is.
But when I end up learning it —
I’m like ohhhh!!
I just overthink everything !!!8 -
So some other dev in team changed something, and it broke the tests that I wrote. Ideally the dev should be responsible for fixing the tests too when I communicated this in the team channel my manager pinged me and asked me to fix it urgently. I'm already on PIP and wth is this? am I suppose to fix these tests too?6

Hey @we3D why am I just now hearing of Oberon programming language?… I feel like I’ve heard Pascal before you mentioned it, but to be honest… if I had, it was rare too. I’ve definitely heard of C… wth ETH Zurich been doing since the 80’s….2

My start up job got to spark. Problem I face is, completing things as soon as possible, problems are simple but even taking 2 days on something is a big thing. So, I'm just stuck doing lots of urgent tasks and I'm tired every other day because of this.
I don't want to meet people from my workplace as everyone is kind of workaholic and that also makes me not to do anything, I mean yeah, I can't handle stress, it's hell. Rather I want to work for a big company having interesting problems to solve and people who are professional and there to help you. Professionalism is not present here, managers are using bad words for their reportees, and that's a norm. My manager pinged me and literally said that I'm slow. WTH!!!1
