On a Mac.
I have to use a virtual machine to get Windows on a mac just so I can test on internet explorer.

This virtual machine is even less fast.

Even worse, this website is a pile of garbage. It's slower than my grandma.

But then I got introduced to the result of making a wordpress site with over 300 pieces of media and 20 plugins.

so on my new lappy I'm testing XFS. After reading how bloody fast it is, I figured: why not give it a shot!
2 weeks later, I want to go back to ext4. XFS is SSSSOOOOOO fault-intollerant, it breaks my Chrome profile after each forced-poweroff (or power loss). And the on-boot fsck freezes. And after a successful bootup I see the log messages in syslog are all messed up (timestamps are all over the timeline!!!)

What BackEnd framework you used and Why?
I will go first, I use Phoenix (Elixir) because it is Fast and high tolerance on errors. I used ASP.NET because I am forced to. (Company choice)22 -

Im tasked to investigate a stored proc that is slow at certain times ( 20-30mins ) and fast at other times ( 10-15 secs ).
After following suggestions i found out that adding NOLOCK hint on all the select queries makes the execution time fast ( 10-20 secs) .
Although i know that adding NOLOCK means a dirty read of possible incorrect data, does it justify the performance boost?

I've recently launched a node js package fast-freeze. It makes an object read only by converting it into series of functions. Though it is faster but looks ugly to use. Eg giveMe("server")("port").
Any suggestion to make it less ugly?

The worst part of doing mathematical research as a high schooler is that there are no real hard-and-fast deadlines because school is constantly getting in the way, so any such deadlines would be quickly overrun, but that means that it is playing second fiddle to absolutely everything else with a deadline (aka everything), including my heaps of other mathematical work that is due once a week that I cannot possibly bash through fast enough to have time to do research. -

Spent two days moving from a fucking slow piece of crap called Gatsby to Vite, trying to comprehend the difference between TS aliases, Babel aliases and Linaria aliases. Found an answer inside a totally unrelated issue explaining Jest stuff, good job on documentation, Linaria!
Vite is fast. Crazy fast. Forget about Webpack, Parcel and things alike — Vite doesn't even need to bundle JS.
Gatsby was slow to the point of my computer's audio glitching, I'm not even talking about the OS interface lags.
Vite is fast to the point that I don't actually need a new MacBook.1 -

I was never really into programming which led to bad grades in programming courses I had to take in my college which are mostly based on C. Later, I've realized that it's an easy way to make pocket money ;) as I was a bit good at it and my learning curve is a bit fast, which made everything happen real fast. This is when I started of with Java which was crucial in building an enterprise application. This was the time I made some real progress in programming.

Developed an app for an ionic developer with React Native becos his boss ask for it and 8hours before presentation he ask for code to make minor modifications I never ask him if he knew react native but gave him the link to the repo becos I was told he can adopt anything fast😲 fast? enough to learn react native in 8h understand the code and make modifications? 😂😂well that sound super genius. I know it's not made to be resilient in any way, only fast, as fast as possible, but man, the memcache_tool script just made my life a million times easier by facilitating a complete data transfer between two memcache instances, allowing for a rolling update without any session data loss!
