Having my first memory leak problem ever. This sucks. I've tried what seems like everything. Forcing garbage collection every time I press a key to try and debug the issue. Fuck. I have 'using' blocks everywhere, and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

I failed at university, spent too long there without ever graduating. I learned a lot through self-study, though. The only company I worked at was an arrangement with a friend whose company needed people, so I stepped in, but eventually I deserted the job after the company went out of money and I went two months straight working without getting paid. Now I feel apprehensive of putting that job experience in my resume because I didn't come out of it in good terms with the company. I have many unfinished projects but keep them private on GitHub because I feel like the code is too bad to show off. How do I even get a job, now? Should I just quit the industry altogether? I feel somewhat confident that I can actually do a good job, but I also don't feel confident enough to apply for jobs since I always feel like my skills are lacking. I know about impostor syndrome, but at the core of it is the matter: is this impostor's syndrome, or am I in fact *actually* consistently bad and incompetent? Rationally speaking I tend to feel like the latter, yet I know the only thing I can do is to try and be better. I guess.

Anyway, completely unstructured thing, just me venting off my frustration and desperation in a place where at least people will read it and possibly offer some advice. Thank you for reading this far.

When I hear the word "service" I think of something that just runs in background and you can do stuff with it. I have no idea how to create one, I almost had to make one on Android and use it properly, now I'm back to Windows and Java and we have something working as a service, I have no idea how it was created and how it does work, I just know how to start, restart and stop it. If you asked me how it works and how to communicate with it - XD no idea lol but let me google that. I have almost 4 years of professional software development experience.

Our Networks manager just send a mass email to the rest of it stating that some of our Linux servers need to have an antivirus installed.

He mentioned cisco AMP for Linux. Just saw the email like 2 mins ago so i have not researched anything.

Is that a thing that some of you that are more on the networking side and security side would recommend?

Never heard of installing an anti virus on linux which is why i ask and i don't know shit about cisco.

Aye, gonna throw this up here, does anyone have experience at building a mobile game with js (or tbh anything but unity). Right now we are thinking about phaserjs and wrapping it in phonegap app (i fucking hate the idea but its fine for a small game like this). But if there are better alternatives im open, for starter i have no idea how to fullscreen the canvas on this lol.

I once was righting a C project for my professor, and I had a problem that I didn't know the solution, once I copied the script in the main into a function it worked perfectly.
And still have no idea of what happened.

During my internship, I fixed a bug in android app related to user data updation..

BUT I didn't knew it's root cause and I have no idea how I fixed it.
Also, it was satisfying.
