I haven't met many people through programming but I've met many friends through devRant but certainly also through being a Linux (server) enthusiast.
At study I found some good Linux guys and now through devRant I've gotten some awesome linuxers and privacy/security like minded people who I definitely see as great friends!
Also I find it awesome that I can actually teach people stuffs that I love researching about/ doing myself!9 -

The Eve V is a Community Developed Windows Tablet which will be released in Ocotober this year.
The best specs you can get is i7 6th Gen, 16 GB Ram and 500 GB SSD for around 1400$.
He wants 32 GB RAM in such a slim and small Tablet. Also wants a 7th Gen Intel CPU and 1 TB SSD in it. He's ready to pay 1000 $ more for his special edition.
The Eve V is already finished with tooling and they are wating for the screens to arrive. They already have all the other parts.

My most successful project is unsurprisingly the first and only project I ever made public. It's a very simple TweetDeck wrapper based on Electron. Hey folks!
I'm looking for some software or service to manage the referees in my sports club.
I want to assign people (and maybe even groups of people) to a specific game and have an automatic notification for them. Then the assigned referee should be able to confirm or deny the assignment.
Some extras would be something like a counter of how many games each specific referee has done and some kind of calendar where the referees can block some dates where they don't want to have a game.
