I do push-ups and sit-ups whilst running long running CPU-intensive jobs so that I can feel the burn along with my CPU.5
-
that feel when you see "contact the administrator" and you don't know what to do, because you are the administrator1

Imagine being a gitlab employee scrolling through devRant being the reason for 90% of todays rants6

My work mate just sent this, it made me feel better:
"If you ever have a day when you fucked up badly, made a huge mistake and you feel like a total kluts, click this link: https://google.com/maps/... and feel happy in that you didn’t fuck up bad enough for it to show on google earth!"
😇11 -
I used to think that Google knew too much about my personal life, but now I feel like someone finally gets me 😍 (screenshot)4

That feel when you Google your problem and the first result is your own stack exchange post without any answers 🙄4
-
That feel when you spend 2 hours fixing something just so you can fix the thing you originally intended to fix5

That feel when your grandpa taught himself how to stream movies online and asks you to finally teach him how to torrent.
I'm so proud.3 -
That moment when @dfox likes your comment and you feel successful in this social platform even though you're new.25

My phone autocorrect "Netbeans" to "Jetbrains". Was frustrating on the moment, but in the end I feel okay with that8
-
I'm a simple man.
When the code that I write is released and used by thousands, if not millions, that's when I feel like a badass. -
I really feel sad for the person that is going to manage my code in future :(
Poor guy will have nightmare about this6 -
That feel when pants that were large before I started programming now can't even fit above my waist.
Since I started programming and using GNU/Linux I've gotten fatter.
Goddammit.4 -
First time showing my GitHub to some professionals, instant laughter and telling me that .gitignore exists... 3 years ago and I still feel embarrassed that happened.5
-
Oh the ups and down of learning code. One day you feel like a programming prodigy, the next you hit a concept that makes you feel like you'll never become a professional programmer. So much to learn!!!! 😭😭7
-
if you ever feel bad or useless about your ability as a programmer, just remember that this is the kinda code i write when im tired13
-
I'm lost. I am so used to calls saying people broke things, I feel weird that I'm not annoyed with someone's idiocy...
Help?19 -
If you ever feel down at your job: remember that someone, somewhere has to read Windows10 user feedback all day long ;)5
-
did you ever have to maintain a code that is so bad that it makes you physically ill to look at it? i feel like I've seen an eldritch horror16
-
My personal android app project started at android 1.5 and actually went to google play when android 4.2 was launched... With the look and feel of android 1.5...
Prior to that I spent about 2 years trying to make an Adobe Air app out of it.
I feel proud of my perseverance. -
Sometimes I feel like I shouldn't rely on f.lux to tell me the time... But the fact that it's getting brighter tells me that I probably won't get much sleep tonight...3
-
Not a rant: Devrant is the only place where i can write or read programming jokes that do not feel like UDP requests.2
-
Thanks devrant for making me feel part of a really nice community! I mean... Before devrant I was only able to hear "oh, it is not that bad" or "take it easy" as a response... Now I'm reading really nice answers from people that really loves the IT, and people that always works on the worst side of the companies, doing all the hardwork. I don't feel alone anymore!4
-
I am starting to suspect that Agile means: "Tell the devs to do whatever you want on any given day, depending on how you feel on that particular day" to some people.6
-
that moment when you get mor notifications from devRant than Facebook you feel like you're home, like you know you are finally where you belong2

Any code of your own that you haven't looked at for six or more months might feel as it has been written by someone else.3

Sometimes when i code i feel unstoppable ,those are the days that i am very productive,then there are days that i feel like an idiot and i cant code a single line6

A command line that make me feel like a pro hacker #top ^^
Use often when sitting with non-IT guys 😂13 -

That moment when a social situation makes you feel bad, so you come over to dev rant and feel good with your life.3

I like to come up with superhero names for my docker containers. That makes me feel like the Uber-villain when I run "docker kill elasticman"4
-
I always thought android people were just a little bit whiny, but now that I'm developing an app in my free time I feel you.1
-
That moment when you realise your console is just a pc and the days of fast cartridge in and load game as gone and with that statement I also feel old.20
-
One of the things I love the most about programming is that sometimes you feel like you're taking a step forward when you're taking a step back... and sometimes you feel like you're taking a step back when you take a step forward.
Or maybe that's just me. XD12 -
If you ever feel like you won't achieve anything in your developer career just remember that Suicide Squad won an Oscar.1
-
If you don't feel good enough with your programming skills, keep practicing but don't be sad, there are dogs all around the world that love you3

I've had so much tea today that I feel sick...
On the bright side though, I've had great productivitea...😃
Help... 😟6 -
I feel like I should pick up a hobby that doesn't involve a computer, something outdoorsy. Anyone else feel the same way?16
-
That feel when someone answered your stackoverflow question and you accept, but a minute later someone posts a more detailed answer that obviously took a lot of effort 😐1
-
Whenever you feel sad just remember that when Microsoft Visual Studio App Center is down, just like StackOverflow, nobody cares...1
-
This new WhatsApp status page is weird ....I miss the one liners that I used to give as status...
Does anyone feel the same?6 -
Recruiter called me yesterday about applying for job that I already applied for through her. I don't feel special.2
-
Have I ever told you guys of the time that I had made my PM feel bad by saying I had to drop 3 classes because he was working me so hard?
Yeah that happened and he felt really bad about it!
GOOD! FUCKING GOOD! I want you to feel bad about it! Don't you dare say that I'm not putting in enough work ever again!1 -
Wow. I feel kinda bad!
I just raged at someone for removing a feature, that disappeared because I CHANGED my config file.
I just feel stupid... Wow.22 -
I support the idea that we rename devRant to WTFRant. I feel like the WTFs per rant is steadily increasing.11
-
I feel like a lot of people in Dev Rant are web developers. There's nothing wrong with that but sometimes I feel disconnected from all of you. Where my Firmware Engineers at? 🤓7
-
I feel we can do nearly everything when we learn C# and JS.
How do ya think?
I am not saying that Brainfuck is not useful. I love that language btw.15 -
have you ever felt having bad code ocd that you feel like you really need to clean this old project that you got assigned to fix, but cleaning the whole project up would take too much time and it is just not worth it . But you feel like you really need to do it...3
-
I always thought callback functions are some mysterious things that high end devs understand. After learning it I feel to stupid now. 😭3
-
Only on devRant do I actually feel like I'm making a contribution.
I have over 500++ and I know that the people that see what I'm posting understand what I'm saying. -
Every time I feel like I suck at my job, I open dR and read a few rants and comments. Suddenly I don’t feel so dumb anymore.
Every time I feel my job or workplace sucks, I open dR and read a few rants and comments. Suddenly I don’t feel like my job isn’t that bad anymore.4 -
That feel when my solution runs way faster than world average
PS: the puzzle is SAWAYAMA WONDERDISC3 -
Don't you guys feel like sometimes we make a huge deal in regards to what is basically grabbing a bunch of shit from a db and making it display on a flipping website?
I sometimes feel bored at how repetitive this shit is. Its the same shit, with various degrees of complexity to do that get data and post data or update data.
I dunno man, sometimes i just feel like there is too much for something that is inherently simple.3 -
I just feel sad for the productivity app that I downloaded couple of months ago :(
I never even opened it for once1 -
If you're having CSS problems, I feel bad for you son,
I got 99 problems that I fixed with 'z-index: 100;' -
i am writing a piece of code that i already feel guilty about,
alternate is refactoring a complete module.2 -
Anyone else feel that the main code base they work on is so old and clusterfucked it could do with a rewrite?5
-
that moment when you finally find the solution and you feel like I've done great work today.. enough of coding :D3
-
That feel when the html parser you are stuck with randomly strips out css and js so you have to reinvent grid layouts with tables.4
-
Just beeing here and reading stuff that happens to other developers makes me feel that I am not alone with unrealistic wishes amd useless constraints from customers.
-
That awkward feeling of not working because you don't feel productive because you are not working because you...1
-
Every job interview I go through I feel more certain that I need to get out of my job asap and more doubtful that I wanna work with these companies.
-
I feel fucked, I feel fucked right up in the ass.
Remember that app I had to do to get the job? I found out the other candidates weren't even able to install Android Studio and that their deadline was postponed. And that they weren't able to complete the app.
I did everything with a really good design, solid programming, even added animations and made it so the recyclerview loads 15 items at a time while you scroll down smoothly. I. DID. EVERYTHING IN ONE DAY. I missed a good night of sleep.
I didn't get the job. They gave it to a fucker that was a web developer. I saw his app. It was really crappy (I'm not being petty or malicious, it was really bad from a dev point of view and a user point of view).
I feel. Disappointed. in this unfair world. And honestly I feel disappointed to the point that I don't even know if I should be a developer anymore. I feel betrayed by the hopes and the good feeling I got from the oportunity.8 -
Have you ever felt like you don't want to fall asleep?
I do feel that quite often but I don't know why.17 -
I probably should learn how to take vacations more often, not only when I feel mentally exhausted souch that I can't really do anything5
-
If you ever feel unwanted, just know that someone, somewhere, has wanked about you at some point
They're masochists ofc, but it still counts7 -
Sometimes I feel sorry for @jAsE, that man is fighting a tough battle with his computer.
;_; all the best1 -
Not sure if I'm disappointed or relieved.
Just spent 5 years trying the get into this class. Studying and asking and getting recommendations. I knew it had less than a 5% pass rate but it's all that I've been aiming for for years.
Finally got into it, and spent 4 months working my ass off. Today I got told that I'm maybe being dropped. And honestly, as disappointed as I am, and I might need a new dream to aim for, I'm actually pretty okay with it.
I've been so stressed and annoyed and unhappy lately. I was starting to debate if this is even what I want. And for the first night in a while I can just drink whisky and not worry about the next test or doing classwork at midnight instead of sleeping.... I can just relax and whatever happens happens. I can't control how tomorrow goes.
Not sure if "oof. I need a drink" or "thank god, lets celebrate with a drink!"3 -
Just learned that unicode U+14269 is the "troll" unicode character. I feel like this should be used more.2
-
Even though I love vue, I feel that the "store" part of vue is kind of lacking compared to react.
I've seen several react projects that improve in that area.12 -
That feel when an intern is tasked with implementing a web frontend for a project you're working on.
That feel when you open up one of the views and it's filled with JQuery spaghetti and your eyes glaze over.
That feel when you actually step through the code, and it actually makes sense and is remarkably light and clever for what it does.
That feel when you learned a bit more JQuery (a library that you never had any experience with before) and it made doing some more things an absolute breeze.
Thanks intern! -
Had an interview today with someone who made me feel like I knew nothing. Best experience I have ever had in an interview. I know it sounds weird, but I actually felt like I learned a lot from that man and would like to work with people who make me feel that way.
Unfortunately, that will probably not happen after that interview.3 -
Does someone else also know the feeling when you are together with other devs that you instantly feel like your skills aren't even existent?
Often I notice that I feel that way without actually habing a reason :/4 -
that feel when you finally find software that perfectly fits your needs..... but find the download page is on sourceforge.net, last updated in 2002.
-
Is it only me that I feel I am so special for being a programmer, and also able to think, learn, and analyze better than other people?
I feel like we are small group of people that do magical things that change the world while nobody even realizes or appreciates what we do4 -
Holy smokes, a japanese site that looks cleanly designed, instead of like a wall of text written in moon runes. I feel faint.
https://hyperia.co.jp/14 -
When you feel like you are getting so much stuff done, that you don't want to stop!!!
Need to get some sleep though! -
So, I'm working on some stuff, Bitcoin Cash related. And you see, I feel I'm actually doing so much progress, and that's good. The thing is that I always forget to commit and I end up commiting and pushing like 5 or more changes on 5 or more files that are literally not related.
I feel stupid2 -
I feel so much better when I actually talk through problems I’m having with a project with someone that can help me brainstorm. It sometimes makes me feel bad because I didn’t do it myself, but there’s also a lot of things that I learn through the process.2
-
Wish you all a Happy New Year! Being a part of this community has made me feel a sense of belonging and that I'm a part of something bigger! Seeing all your fuck ups made me feel better that in not the only one, seeing all your accomplishments motivated me to achieve more in life! I would like to take this moment to thank you all and to make me feel proud of being a dev! I wish you all an amazing new year and may you all get whatever you wish this new year!
-
Most days, I feel pretty good about my skill and contributions, but I still sometimes worry that I might be the cog with the terrible code that all my coworkers rant about.1
-
Dang. I feel like I'm just not cut out to climb any ladder.
When we discovered a production bug. I feel bad about making people working on that part look bad by not catching it.
My manager has no issue with pointing out that I should have caught it. Beating a horse while it's down.
I mean no shit. Of course I know I should've caught it. How does making me feel worse about it help.
Feels like I'll always be in a tough spot no matter where I am on the ladder.
Or I'm just fragile. I acknowledge that, too9 -
Sometimes I feel like when I make comments in pull requests, people pretend to understand what I'm talking about. Anyone else feel that way?4
-
I got late at work today and top of that I really don't feel like working the rest of the day.
Is that normal?6 -
Do you ever feel like your mind has entered this "hyper" mode where you feel like your mind is in overdrive? Like you're processing several thoughts in your head at once, and that leaves you in a state where you can't get anything done?
It happens to me like once a week and boy is it satisfying when it goes away and I can feel my head cool down.5 -
I feel no energy
no will
no power
no strength to move
i feel so.... empty....void.... null...... Soulless.... dont know how to describe
if something bad were to happen again or if someone were to die, i wouldnt have the energy to cry even if i wanted to, that is how low i feel these days can u even imagine that....
2h of sleep for the past 3 days
no energy to even workout because i feel like im about to faint if i do
all thats left is little piece of motivation inside me for whatever reason still alive and it keeps me moving6 -
Best part of intern developper : that feel when you present what you've done to the users, and they're fond of it.
-
Whenever I cancel out old chunks of code that do not serve their function anymore, or that I commented out in early phases to make space for better functions, I feel dead inside. It's almost like if I was saying goodbye to a very old friend, who supported me through the project and reminded me of how I started it.
Than I notice how stupid and/or inelegant that chunk was, and feel better. 😂 -
At the end of the day, I feel kind of sad that there's something actually working in the bug I've been developing...1
-
Turning Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge into anime girls does not change the fact that they still suck. I feel no pity.6
-
my googling Stack has overflown out of stack overflow and I feel like fucked up and create a New stack that doesn't overflow
-
I feel that Microsoft putting a deadline on their Win 10 OS is just one more way to get people to buy into it5
-
Guys, how often do you feel inferior to your colleagues? I'm just thinking since I've just finished first year of uni, and although I got a solid top grade, I can't help but feel that every other person in the year is a much better programmer and it kinda makes me feel like a fraud. Anybody else in university/school feel like that?10
-
Have ever happened to you, that you feel like your current job is just not working for you anymore and it does not motivate you ?9
-
How would you feel if you can't solve your code? I'm almost a week stuck on a server problem. I applied for frontend dev position, it's okay for me to do this kind of stuff but the fact that I can't solve it for so long it makes me feel down :(5
-
Anyone else feel guilty at work when you're between projects or waiting for a request to be completed?
I usually teach myself something new in that time, but I feel guilty.5 -
Out top management has made the decision that our managers must have billable work as well on projects. I feel like winter is coming.4
-
It is really hard not to feel arrogant when everyone around you is a shitbag.. but that makes me feel like a shitbag myself so the problem kind of solves itself.2
-
That euphoric moment when your program works on the first try and you just feel like the god of all programming.
-
Is it weird that, despite the professional setting, when a client actually thanks us/me for swift/efficiently done job that I feel a little happier with myself?1
-
What technology/concept/programming language did you learn that made you feel way way more brilliant?
Me: Shell scripting, feel like god 😌18 -
That feel when you retire 152 files worth of dead code...
The diff was so big, it crashed our review tool! -
It just struck me that by long-pressing backspace on the virtual keyboard I can use emoji.
I feel kind of stupid right now. 😶2 -
Why does Visual Studio feel so special that if I add a file using File Explorer instead of through Visual Studio, it doesn't detect the file? Why does Visual Studio feel it's more important than the operating system itself?6
-
that feel when you feel miserable, so you, who hasn't had coffee in like a month, want to make coffee at 9 pm
I'm sure that'll go well2 -
I love when games don't change their mechanics much between installments. That way, when I play later installments and feel like going back to the previous ones, I don't feel so out of touch due to being used to newer features.1
-
Fuck them all who say Java and JavaScript are the same !!!
Feel like to punch them at that instant.6 -
Why does DevRant make me feel I'm doing enough during the lockdown whereas the whole world's making me feel like crap and guilty that I haven't done enough.
I fucking love this community.5 -
You know that feel where you're looking for a solution and don't find one. And go down this rabbit hole of self loathing? And everything is sad and depressing. You can't think straight. You feel like an idiot. You kinda don't know/ forget things you knew a couple days earlier.
Well, that ended yesterday. For now.2 -
Calling myself a hacker for reading messages in SharedPreferences, to avoid seen.
What's something you do that makes you feel like a hacker?4 -
I don't know about you guys but I feel like I should be dating a female coder ^^" what do you think about that ?8
-
Don’t you sometimes feel revolutionary and want to use some technology that is completely impractical for the project?
I’m using grpc on my angular app... -
i am so much dead inside that I can't even feel depression anymore, idk how to explain, its like committing a spiritual suicide1
-
Anyone here doing meditation regularly. Do you feel that it enhances your programming skills? Not to mention it help s to find inner peace.10
-
Sigh that melancholic feeling of being invited to a final 2-3 hr tech interview only to be denied afterwords. I feel so hopeless11
-
That moment when you spend hours on fixing some bug, and finally discover that the problem is in another piece of code..
Literally, I feel I am on dumpiness overflow ! -
How we devs hate getting humiliated on stack overflow when we don't get the answer and someone make us feel stupid for even posting the question.
How we also secretly wish for that validation and feel proud when there are more likes on our questions.
No? Just me? Ok cool 👍5 -
Unstableness of core technology stack. The more developers are there, the more complicated architecture they create that often doesn’t give any significant value besides what if something goes wrong ?
What if you make mistake ?
What if power goes down ?
I feel I am last optimistic thinking software developer on this planet.
I feel that those tools just try to give some sort of power to the management over developer free mind.
Creatures like multicloud, cloud, k8s I feel that it’s just beginning not the end of road. And this beginning is a wrong turn.
It’s just another vendor lock in.
But I might be wrong.3 -
I feel that people give more importance to good portfolios and projects rather than college degrees in this day and age. I've come across many professionals (in different fields) who are self taught and who I feel have a deeper understanding that others who have degrees or Ph.D s. Does one still necessarily need to go to uni to get employed?2
-
Wish I could come up with ideas for projects so that I can show off my git profile *Sad feel dog attached3
-
Cannabis, meditation and the knowledge that my skills are valuable enough that I can leave whenever I feel so inclined.
In that order too -
Is it bad that even though I am doing computer science in college I still feel like I am missing a lot of knowledge? Like I’ll come out of college without knowing things that people with information technology will know or things that people with computer engineering will know.
I feel like all the job descriptions out there want me to be a combination of CS, IT and CE.2 -
Hey guys... Broke up with my girlfriend that I spend 1.3 years with her and all I think about is "I have to come back to work in order to forget this sadness and depression " ... Sometimes I feel that programming is making me feel like a robot with cold to no feelings24
-
When I'm reading a book or following a tutorial and feel that sudden spike in difficulty. I lose it all.1
-
Swift is such a horrible language now that I am actually using it. You have protocols that don't behave like interfaces, classes that aren't objects, structs that aren't passed by reference. And stupid counterintuitive generic grammer. I feel scammed.1
-
Do you know the frustration you feel after you worked on your game engine all day and ended up with it not working properly anymore? It's so diffuse.. you didn't really do anything physically, but you still feel like you failed and broke something that you will now have to fix.
-
Do you ever feel like no matter how much money you earn it just.. doesn't seem enough because you see certain people around you who earn even more? Whenever i hear my in-laws say 'oh that guy earns this much, this guy earns this much', i feel kinda low...19
-
Today was the last day of my 10weeks internship. That was a great experience. Returning to school make me feel so sad :(2
-
this feel that i can change the world doing main job basically living anywhere in the world. just give me some keyboard connected to things.
-
Do you ever feel like now that you reached your goal of being a developer that there is nothing left to look forward to? I feel like all the best parts of my life are over. I will never have a first love again, I will never be young again, and all that’s left is working a shit job where everyone else could give two shits less about craftsmanship so I can survive and then eventually dying.
A week ago I climbed on to the ledge of the parking garage and intended to jump. But I got scared and climbed back over and threw up everywhere. I feel like I am in a better place now, but I still don’t know what I am living for. It all feels so pointless. Does anyone else on devRant feel that way right now?4 -
Is it possible to learn all of Java's capabilities? I feel it's such a versatile language that one can only specialize in certain areas.9
-
What is that one technology/niche that YOU feel will have a major impact in the future?
Would be really interesting to know how different/similar our thoughts are on this subject.9 -
What do you guys call that light feeling you feel when your project is finally escalated to production team after 3 months of revisions?2
-
How did you guys feel when you graduated? More of a feeling of relieve that it's over or sad like what do I do now?13
-
Being a night owl I feel most productive from 10PM til 2-3AM, but that can't be good for me... Overseas cliebts love it tho2

When you read other people's rants and ++'s and feel encouraged that you are not alone. We can (somehow) do this. Thanks everyone!

I feel like I know typescript a lot better than JavaScript... Is that strange? 😂
I mean after studying languages like C#, I feel like JavaScript is so random, I feel like it has no structure and that I don't know how to code in JavaScript. However when I start using typescript I just feel like I can understand what I am doing on another level. I would like to learn JS more in depth, anyone that has any tips?1 -

I have this weird feeling today that i feel imcomplete, then for some reason i reinstalled dev rant, now im complete1 -
Monday morning.
That uneasy feeling on your stomach when you feel upset about Monday morning.
Is there a word to explain this?5 -
My First ever VSCode extension is live.
https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/...
A symbols tree view provider that supports PHP/TS/JS only (for now). Any suggestions/recommendations are welcomed !!!
Boy, does it feel good to feel like a real developer again 😎8 -
What's the one non-tech thing that you feel 95% of people disagree with you on? Mine is: I think that piercings and tattoos are ugly. What's yours?10
-
I'm on that part of life when you know they are gonna make you feel ashamed of yourself on SO but you already past that sanity bar.

Will web3 solve the problem of wealth accumulating at the top?
Normally, those in management positions (founders, VCs, CXOs) get rich while most of the actual-work and thought-work doers struggle to meet their financial needs.
Can web3 decentralisation help employees accumulate wealth in right proportion to the work that they do?
If you feel that it can, how?
If you feel that it can't, why? What are the challenges?15 -
Do you sometimes have days at work where you feel completely useless for the company. Like you can't get anything done, and you try but it doesn't work. I just want another task that I have knowledge about. Should I just straight up tell this to my mentor that I want to do something I have knowledge about? I feel really stuck10
-
Does anybody feel that the notifications are broken in the Android devRant app?
It works fine on my iPad.4 -
It’s funny that spongebob “sailor mouth” was based on the fact that sailors were disgruntled and swore a lot. Feel like a remake a few years from now would base it on developers.
-
That feeling when you don't feel like working but you can still hear bills creeping up on you and you need the money.
-
I did know some people would negatively takes my honesty.
To be honest. I don't really like compliments. There's nothing in myself. I never expect any compliment. I'm hideous in fact. That's why I join devRant.
I feel comfortable when no one in sight.
But you know sometime, I feel that I want to tell what I feel. To anyone that don't know me in person (in regards to avoid getting messed up).
Is this a sign of mental disorder ?3 -
Showing off devRant to my dev friends. Other than that, I don't think there's anything that really made me feel badass 😂
-
Anyone else here ever feel like an insignificant cog in a large machine that's easily replaceable?
I feel like the company has gotten so big that I don't have much say or impact anymore. Everything we do is determined by the dudes at the top. -
I really want an electric skateboard ....
I feel like it would complete my programming persona....
Anyone got anything like that ? -
It always feels so amazing when working in a team that always coordinates so well, and makes you feel awesome. And then you wake up.

I've been doing Android Development for almost an year now. I feel bad that I only found these gems within the last week.4

I feel that it's better to develop in Kotlin, for android, as a beginner, given the recent announcement.

Being able to build a full website for me or someone else that I wouldn't feel like it would need some involvement 😭

Is it just me, or are there more frontend developers that feel they are solving more bugs then actually creating pages?
-
I joined a startup a few months back, it has four developers apart from me and after I joined and started interacting with them, I could feel that they weren't happy working there, after a couple of months, they became vocal about their dislike, when we were talking about work. I too started experiencing that. Two of them are going to leave next month.
I feel like its starting to rub off on me, I don't have that enthusiasm I used to have, I dread going to the office and overall everything related to the office started to seem negative to me. I feel like I want to get out of this place ASAP.
yeah, most of the things they say are true and I'm not so sure about the rest. Is this how I truly feel?1 -
What do you people do if you feel like you are in rut? I mean I love programming and I love my job but currently I'm working on feature that has turned into a almost a never ending feature because of bad planning so know I feel like I'm stuck in that feature even though I'm working on side projects also but still I know I have to push and finish THAT project. Any tips/suggestions or things that you do to overcome these situations.7

I feel like the world, and my life has been so crazy lately that I needed something reassuring.
```ruby
def test_true_is_true
assert_equal true, true
end
Am I the only one that feels like they're cheating when they use libraries like Angular to make stuff easier? I dont want to feel like that but it just seems to happen :/3
That feel when you find that one font that both looks good and renders ponysay's ponies well ... yet the powerline glyphs are vertically offset T_T
(It's Fira Mono for Powerline btw.)1 -
When your program is far enough along that it compiles, it runs, and you feel like it's getting somewhere, but it's not far enough along that you can properly test it yet.
I keep coming back to this comment from one of the OGs of devRant and feel proud that I had the honor to get it.6
I'm dreading a time that is not near
As a man on a cross I have no fear
I can't believe these words I'm saying
You gotta feel your lines
You gotta feel your lines -
Slept for 4 hours after 10 hours programming session and I still feel pretty good.
Does that mean that code == rest? Woops!1 -
I hereby declare the following the official anthem of Trintellix:
[Chorus]
I can make you feel better oh, if you let me
I can make you feel better ooh, if you want to
I can make you feel better oh, and you know you will
If that's what you want boy
Then you know where to find me
[Verse]
However you're feeling
I can make you feel better
Whatever you're thinking
I can make it all clearer
Don't pretend you know that you feel it
Try so hard, but you can't conceal it
Whatever you feel inside
I can make you feel better
If that's what you want boy
Then you know where to find me
So
Hey guys it might seem like i'm ranting a lot about this but, I just can't help it. Apologies for that.
So i suffer from migraine, almost everyday. And the pain, mood swings just kill me. I can't remember a thing, I'm not able to focus on simple tasks. And on top of that no one understands what I go through. I feel like this freaking disease is getting the best of me.
I'm just losing confidence everyday bit by bit. I'm thinking of quitting my job, and taking a career break for sometime, in hopes that it would help.
Feel like i'm totally screwed. Does anyone else feel like this?2 -
