Professor at Uni: "Missing a semicolon on yozr final exam could be a reason to fail that exam. Coding on paper is much better because that is what you will be doing on the job. "
Hate those written Java exams on paper.18 -
"Anything that can be done in GUI is better than in terminal"
Yes it's wrong and stupid. Let Microsoft fans disagree.16 -
If you want to improve, be with people that are already better than you.
That's what I do, and so far so good.8 -
Always be humble and always keep learning. No matter how good you get, there is always some better.4
-
This little guy came and went in between my arm and my belly. He must be having a rough day. Just kinda glad I can make it better :)5
-
Senior devs out there, please be supportive to juniors. Don't treat them bad just because they don't know as much as you do. Guide them and help them learn and grow as devs. That'll make your company (and/or the community) a better place to work at, because everyone will be a better dev, and you might learn and grow in the process as well.15

Dev: We need a better name than “Data” for this class. It’s used for displaying a set of tiles with certain coordinates so maybe TileMap would be a bit more declarative?
Manager: No I don’t like that. Data is perfectly fine, this class is for managing data so it’s perfectly declarative you just need to get better at reading code. If you have to change it then DataObject or DataObjectClass might be a bit more specific.
Dev: …14 -
To everyone in hurricane war path...
YOUR WONDERFUL STUBBORN ASSES BETTER LET ME KNOW YOU'RE OK. I'M GOING TO BE WORRIED SICK UNTIL ALL THESE FUCKING WATER TORNADOES ARE DONE.32 -
It's going to be Instagram, but better. I have lots of friends so it'll have lots of users.
Okay.... You have how many friends?2 -
Shit code. I've done it, you've done it, we've all done it. Just keep working hard and improving. Eventually, you'll be writing better... shit code.4

How to be a great developer - 101
1. Write Code
2. scrap it
3. Rewrite in a better way..
Repeat! 😂1 -
Its real.. sometimes I really hate programming when I stuck at some where.. suddenly everything will be ok and then I will feel like , there is nothing better than programming.4
-
I love you. I live devRant.
All I need sometimes is scrolling through your stuff, and I feel better.
Be safe, girls and guys. Be healthy, and stay here. #OneBigFamily ❤️9 -
Made possible by Synergy! If you don't use it, you should. I'd be curious if people have dropped it for any better alternatives?11
-
"I have this great idea for an app, it'll be like Facebook but better"
How I imagine the conversation went before devrant was made3 -
"we use cookies to give you a better experience on our site"
A better experience? Really?
It looks like you're using more than 100 external parties for whatever fucking reason. It is nearly impossible to disallow these, except for some stuff like analytics, which I don't like since it includes mass surveillance parties like Google and Facebook, but I'd at least, to some extent, understand that better.
But, the amount of dark pattern here is staggering and this kind of 'consent' you're using wouldn't, in a million years, hold up under the GDPR.
You know what would be a better experience? No tracking and no ads.
Go fuck your better experience (would that be a better sex experience....?)4 -
The Linux desktop marketshare. Every year support gets better and better and soon I think it will be higher than the Mac desktop marketshare.
-
Although I dislike Microsoft tremendously, I had faith that they wouldn't be stupid enough to fuck up Github. Until I just read an article that the new CEO of Github will be the former CEO and co-founder of Xamarin, who says he wants to "make Github better at being Github".
A hybrid tool creator wants to make Github better. Ladies and gentlemen, we are fucked.6 -
Seeing all devrant posts actually give me a feeling of not being alone with my everyday work-related issues. It's good to be a programmer and even better to be a part of a global community.1
-
I am like the weakest programmer at my job. I wanna improve and get better. Understanding how to write good unit test to reading code. Damn it. I just wanna be better.9
-
This is supposed to be a huge European conference on logistics at hyperlog.info If these noobs will be inviting big companies, they better know how to make a map, that's not Hungary there and Europe has only one Slovakia8

Well shit.
Language features-wise Rust has a great edge over its main competitor(which seems to be Golang even though they can't really be competitors)
Rust has a better package manager with Cargo.
It also has better documentation. It also has
Wait for it...

A better website and a non retarded looking mascot.
TEE HEEEE9 -
Good morning guys,
Have a nice day with your task today.
Let's smile and be positive you will feel better and more productive ^^
"You Can Do It!"7 -
devRant is so refreshing. my circle runs more in the LinkedIn space, so i naturally get on there more. but every few weeks i come back to devRant and get the pure, honest thoughts of developers and it’s always great
just appreciate the realness on here
Merry Christmas everybody5 -
I used to be a lousy software developer, and I used to settle for what I knew. Until my sister told me that my mother spoke of me to the family as a successful professional, someone who had overcome the poverty where he grew up and now lived in another country. Since then I have struggled to become a better professional, a better husband and in a few months i want to be the best that! My wife's pregnant!9
-
My friends trynna bullshit how windows is much better than Linux. They sayin shit like "at least our csgo don crash when we alt tab" then I say "at least I don't have to reboot when something go wrong" and they be like "yea but windows better" 😡16
-
Just resigned in my current position and signed with a new company for a much better opportunity. So I hope this will be it.2
-
Had a meeting with a web development firm with 10+ developers on staff to discuss ways we could help them improve efficiency and they said "we don't have anyone who knows SQL or databases"...
How do you even find 10 developers who "don't know databases"?11 -
"No matter how cool your interface is, it would be better if there were less of it." - Alan Cooper1
-
Wife and I went to visit her grandparents and when we were at the hotel she would watch lifetime and i would code.
As for Christmas, there's nothing else to do in this town so why not code.6 -
Is there anybody who startet a startUp and failed? Not to be rude, but could you please explain, what you did wrong atd what I could do better?20
-
There will be always someone who is a better programmer than you so don't stop improving on yourself.1
-
Ok seriously what the actual fuck is this even supposed to be
Narnia has have better bandwidth than this16 -
sudo apt-get update year
Appy new year guys.
I know I've been away but I will be back when I get better.5 -
Today is international programmers day and I found devrant stickers in my postbox. Could it be any better?2

Am I the only one who couldn't care less how my website looks on Internet Explorer? If you visit my website, you'd better damn well not be using Internet Explorer.7

Ok what’s better than waking up to the sweet smell of fresh rain & my brewing coffee?
aaand this might not be such a bad Monday after all!9 -
Me: "How many MB of files do you want to send me via mail? Maybe it would be better to upload everything..."
Client: "Oh don't worry. It won't be to much. It's just five folders."5 -
DevRant should have a separate sections where ppl can ask questions and learn from each other... Kinda like stackoverflow but I think this environment would be way better11
-
Nice! At least we have plenty of advance notice with which to plan. Design could be a little better, maybe.2
-
Sometimes, rewriting a project can be faster, more time efficient and better to read than trying to fix the single inefficiencies in parts of the code.
-
Every new framework be like: 'We are new and better and faster and better. Change quickly cause we are the future.'
Me: But whyyy are you better? 🤔😫4 -
i've been here 7 months and the only thing i learned so far is how be in a better position to win politically.
-
Dear God please if you help me fix this merge conflict, I'll be a better person.....please
......please 😭8 -
Ubuntu 18.04 will be sending basic telemetry to Canonical by default. Great for people like me who have to use Linux for work and want a better UX. 😀8
-
Me: "Here is the new feature you asked for. You can select from the dropdown and if it's "Other" you can put the details in the text field next to it"
Them: "I need to add options to the dropdown"
Me: "If you need something added to the dropdown, just let me know and we can get it added, but we need to control that field"
Them: "It won't be necessary to communicate with you to add something to the dropdown"
Me: "Yes. It will be"2 -
My internet provider is a fucking joke. Joke as in my internet is so garbage that it'd be better if I didn't have any internet at all.2
-
Fucking kill me. I've just agreed to make a shitty fucking app that would be better as a Webpage, using shitty fucking technologies I don't understand, to do a thing that would be better handled by a third party.
You know why? The guy who asked me to do it is a good friend, and I'm the "best (only) code monkey" he knows. FUCK MY LIFE.
At least I'm getting payed7 -
People use this to argue why node is better. I instead use it to show why node sucks. More is less. Be ready for 3gb node_modules.12
-
Tired of non-dev co-workers talking to me like I work for them. They better be careful. I'll code their computers to do their jobs for them.
-
I'm new to devRant, regretted never heard before. Always heard about stackOverflow community.
Happy to be here, sorry for joining in late.
Looking forward for better build, fun and code share :)5 -
The student assistant gave me a half point penalty for writing down to much comments! Direct translation:
To much of this kind of comments is not needed, the code itself is clear on its own.12 -
Me (10years ago): "I'll be an engineer; write code; solve world hunger and poverty and change the world"
Me (Now): "This bashscript better not fuck up the 90 F5s."1 -
Microsoft Visual Studio.
The shittiest time waster ever.
Waiting for the damn right version to be installed.
Please, save time.
Choose better.4 -
on dev rant, "web idiots" = people who are way better than me at web dev. they're better than me at that so therefore they are bad. me monkey brain feel safe. ooga booga!
this site should just be called InsecureRant11 -
If we made computers out of Fry's transistors, it would cost a couple billion dollars. These better be insanely deluxe.1

I watched some of markipliers videos back when I watched yt
I felt down and like I wasn't giving my best and stuff
Searched for "markiplier inspiration"
Marks video "believe in yourself" is just that
Inspirational af
Say what you want about him, I guess there are people who think he's about the money or stuff, but no matter how you look at it he is a good guy.
He makes you laugh when you need it (if you get the idea of watching his videos)
He has a kind heart, he is a fucking inspiration on himself, inspiration in person.
Comparing myself to myself, I still think I can do better, but that's also what he encourages, set your own goals and just try to be a bit better than yourself
Only compare yourself to your past self.
I may not be as great as I want to be, but I am a lot fucking better than I was a year ago.
And that's what it's all about.
I'm gonna try a bit harder as I go, I wanna BE BETTER as he says, I am going to be fucking better.
It won't be instant, but I'll try.
I hope some one who reads this crap will get inspired a bit as well.
Believe in yourself, and know that others believe in you as well.
...His hair looked better in blue.undefined crap rant ending inspirational af sentimental crap comparisons blue inspiration markiplier yt believe in yourself youtube believe5 -
I recently discovered, that Python is much better tool for scientific calculations then MATLAB. If only I had figured this earlier, my studies could be so much easier...2
-
The moment you hear that a piece of code you carefully cleaned up (which was 'needed' and took days to fix) is not going be used and better be thrown away... 😠😑😣😒3
-
I think the ship has sailed on starting learning JavaScript. There are just so many frameworks/tools/preprocessors/libraries. I wouldn't know where to start and it'll be years before I'll be better than mediocre.7
-
Show 10 lines of code to a dev.
Dev: It could be improved here and there, it can be optimized way better etc.
Show 5000 lines of code to dev.
Dev: Looks good!5 -
Even better... When your trying to fix something, but the fix was something you thought at the very start but thought "it can't be that".
-
Society would be a much better place if people had same level of emotional/mental self awareness as much as they have physical self awareness.18
-
1. Be better dev/human
2. Do all personal projects TDD
3. Finish that unreal engine course that i bought last year january -
The developer of this app should post their technology stack so we could rant about how faster and better in general it would be if they used something else! :D8
-
If number of people using Pokemon Go tries to learn programming go the world would be much better place to code.
-
Be yourself, don't make yourself look better (or worse!) than you actually are. Also, I never made a side project in my life and I landed every job I applied for. Don't pretend to be someone you're not.
-
i hate myself for having a better idea to write a procedure or a function after getting it done. *comments the first set of code, just to be sure.*1
-
the ability to recognize when someone is better at something than you might be the most valuable skill of all
no glass ceilings, just exponential growth at every opportunity10 -
Sometimes I try to figure out which language should I learn next! Or I really need to learn a new language?! Or just trying to be better in current ones??! ...4
-
Getting cooped at home to a avoid COVID is annoying because it got me remembering my ex. I hate myself for shutting down a few days thinking of him. If only there is an "Empty trash" button for emotions. Finally I get better today. I resume studying for work and target to pass the certification. Strive to be better!3
-
This node.js stuff had better be worth all the preaching I hear about here.
Time to build some web applications! :D2 -
Am I the only one thinking devRant would be better if you could not post pictures.
We would not have all these repost memes...7 -
I run my first program in Java on Linux... I feel like most powerful person in the World! xD
I still have some complications but it will not be better probably :)2 -
Don't freaking urgent request me! Your ass better be literally on fire, otherwise you are wasting my time!2
-
Im getting interested in two languages. Namely: Ruby and Python. both seem like really good languages.
which one do you think would i be better off learning?11 -
When you have sextuply-nested sub queries, can we at least acknowledge the POSSIBILITY that there MIGHT be a better way??1

This place would be much better if we could ban idiots. I won’t give names but one wants to slit my throat and other is putin’s assole.11

Beautiful is better than ugly.
Explicit is better than implicit.
Simple is better than complex.
Complex is better than complicated.
Flat is better than nested.
Sparse is better than dense.
Readability counts.
Special cases aren't special enough to break the rules.
Although practicality beats purity.
Errors should never pass silently.
Unless explicitly silenced.
In the face of ambiguity, refuse the temptation to guess.
There should be one-- and preferably only one --obvious way to do it.
Although that way may not be obvious at first unless you're Dutch.
Now is better than never.
Although never is often better than *right* now.
If the implementation is hard to explain, it's a bad idea.
If the implementation is easy to explain, it may be a good idea.
Namespaces are one honking great idea -- let's do more of those!1 -
Started using a password manager. Never thought life would be so easier.
Btw, I'm using Lastpass (on free trail now). Any better recommendations, friends?14 -
So, in roughly 2 years?
- Having my driver licence
- Get my graduation (should be in a few months but still)
- Find another work
- Get a better pay
- Loose 40 kgs
- And a GF would be a bonus -
Its better to be at a good position in a shit company, than be at a shit position in a good company...1
-
I think microsoft buying github will probably be the death of atom editor ... not that I would mind vscode was always way better then atom 🤷7
-
I love Android development, but I HATE make individual strings for each word in my apps. It's so tedious! There's gotta be a better way than telling myself, "Oh crap you better be a good boy and use Google's 'best practices' and not hardcode all your strings. Who knows you might make this app translatable in Portuguese someday and it'll be easy then!". I HATE it!!2
-
!rant
How about a feed where people can ask for help?
I know there are sites such as stack overflow for things like that, but I find devrant's community to be a lot more friendly and just better overall.
Also I believe it would be kinda funny if the questions would not be required to be 100% dev related.4 -
In 2006, everyone thought that earth will be a better place ten years later...
Then came Pokémon Go. -
Can gaming get better on Linux please? I know there are steps towards this but when I can move everything over to arch/Ubuntu etc would be awesome, including VR stuff.13
-
most memorable bug I fixed
Line 1:
- throw new Error(‘test’)
+ // throw new Error(‘test’)
yes, this was committed code in production4 -
Asked a provider for an endpoint that returns customer usage
Provider sends back an endpoint that takes 1 minute to return one days worth of data for 1 customer and asks we limit concurrency to 3... we have 3000+ customers with them
(1 minute * 3000 customers) / 3 = 16 hours to pull yesterday's numbers
Hope we don't get behind7 -
Height of my career would be ability to travel and work from anywhere in the world without having to worry about finances or restrictions.
My IRL backgrounds will be better than Zoom backgrounds.5 -
Just had someone branch off my repo of some class assignments I did last year.
What are they up to.....
Better not be doing what I think he's doing.5 -
Work so hard that you're too mentally exhausted to even think about how your life could be better or more enjoyable.2
-
When you think maybe these Christams will be better. No! They fucking won't. I hate this time of the year so fucking much.6

"You came here because we do this better than you, and part of that is letting our creatives be unproductive until they are." - Don Draper1

Shitty co-workers. From bad management to lazy colleagues I've had it all, and all of it pushes me to be better than they are.1
-
Given how precise developers have to be with their code to get it to run, you'd think they'd be better spellers when they write blog posts. 🤔1
-
Kinda wanna say my teammates are incompetent morons but the truth is I'm not much better
So saying that about them would be admitting it about myself4 -
Take a look at open source projects which are known to be build well and compare their approaches to yours.
What did they do better?
Where were your ideas more sound?
Take the best approaches and continue to polish them, but always be on the hunt for the better idea3 -
If I have to write that web component again just because “well I think this technology will be better” I’m going freak out...
-
I hope and pray that one day I'll be able to solve problems and program things I wanna program without someones help or me looking up a better solution5

Who else lies about his job when dating a girl? JavaScript should be quite Sexy! I often find myself saying I'm a taxidermist with better results.2
-
I've seen far worse people doing what I'm doing, applying terrible practices and still being valued af.
Even if I do smth wrong after doing all the research and alternatives' analysis I know I'll do a proper post-mortem RCA, document it and learn from it, as a result I'll make a better choice to fix the problem and I'll know better next time.
I think I'm alright compared to them. So I don't wory about being an impostor.
Learning by good examples is a good approach. Learning by bad ones might be even better. The "good ones" are yet to fail and be replaced by better (or worse) ones. The "bad ones" are already failing and you can learn WHY you should not be doing it like that and HOW should you do instead to solve the problem.
Learning from good examples only works well if you know the back-story, all the WHYs and HOWs. People usually don't :) -
Virgin media have again told us everything will be sorted in a few hours, with moving the connection.
For their sake they better be right this time as hell hath no fury like a nerd scorn. -
Like the last 100 weeks:
1. Be a better person
2. Learn something new every day if you can.
3. Get older :( -
I want to create an interactive portfolio in a terminal design where you kinda have to type commands to get information. There would be a list of all available commands. Would you guys do it like that or would a normal/simple portfolio be better?7
-
"not boolean" statement can be written as "(boolean+(-1))**2". Pls comment a better alternative lmao17

We interviewed some candidates for a dev position some weeks ago and, knowing the environment isn't that challenging (at least for me) I voted against the better curriculums because I know they would be frustrated fast, I said that. But I didn't say it was because it's shit here... Of course.... I really just want the good devs to be better then they can be here.... What do you think?3
-
Watching the clock slowly ticking towards the end of the work day. Tomorrow will be a better day and the problems will be a lot less scary once I've slept over them.
-
I was wondering.... why are rants public?
Shouldn't be better for DevRant's feed to be visible only to logged members?4 -
If only clients could understand the frustration of implementing things which don't seem to fit in the natural order of software development, then the world would be a better place.1
-
Nobody likes to be compared. Like, " why can't you be more like him/her".If someone at the company do something better, they become standard.
-
The world would be a better place without service now. Would rather drag my balls over 63 miles of broken glass than ever develop anything on this platform again5
-
So, right now we upload production code by means of FTP.
I said it would be better to use continuous deployment using Docker, but they said it was overkill (I work at a small company).
Because manually uploading by means of FTP is so much better right...6 -
Do your better halves know you're doing php? I know I would be too ashamed to tell mine if I did...14
-
What do you think?
How will the work of the future look like?
what will be better?
What will be worse?
How would you like to work?1 -
If soundcloud would have a reverse search feature, my life would be much less of a pain.
Also, if soundcloud could return better results than Google:"songName" + soundcloud -
Even I want devRant feed to be filled with quality rants, but 1 rant/hour is bit less!
Like 5 or so would be better?3 -
The fun times, watching the little weenie down voting the guy who thinks vanilla js is better than jQuery. Here I thought devs were meant to be more intelligent, yet somehow a 30kb wrapper for js is better than js itself...
-
Some people say linux is better than windows because it's better suited for development work
Let's be honest: It's not linux, the tools just suck ass
And no I'm totally not frustrated with installing ocaml on windows 🤐14 -
Overcome the fact that even though I'm starting to be really good at what I'm doing, someone will be better at what I do, and there are always new things to learn from anything. And instead of crying on my own lack of skills, don't waste time and learn from these guys who are better1
-
Sitting at the local RSL, writing my book while downing a few great northern's after work, don't think I could be spending this time any better!
-
My uncle wants a website for his company. Should I do it in Wordpress, or do you know any other, better CMS? Node.js would be awesome :)15
-
Life would be a lot better if the client's requirements won't change abruptly on the last minute of deployment

I am thinking of buying a new desktop.
Would it be better if I built one myself or bought a prebuilt one?17 -
Working with others is always a great way to improve, no matter their skill.
If -
They're better than you, you get to learn new things
They're worse than you, you get to learn how to be a better leader.
Rest assured, folks.

Built a pretty slick chat bot for my company’s conferences that used Google’s Dialogflow for natural language processing and conversation state
It worked from a web chat or SMS. Allowed manual responding by agents as well as the chat bot. Pulled dynamic answers through a 3rd party API integration
Most common questions “what is the wifi password” and “tell me a joke”
Project was killed after 2 conferences - thankfully it only took me a few weeks to build4 -
I started sending my resume everywhere so whoever accepts my person first and makes final offer the better or worse ( didn’t decided yet ) for them.
Probably better... I hope lol.
Let the fate decide... it never worked so I hope to not be disappointed also this time and got fucked up et the end.4 -
Reading all your rants really gets me thinking if it'd be better to stop studying and start working :/3
-
It would be a pleasure for me if you guys would give me a rate for a website ive just uploaded to the live server. It's responsive but german. If you have better options, for some functionalities, i am open for better ideas.

If you are a graduate/junior developer be very careful about joining a small Ltd company.
You would get better support in a bigger team and have better insight of the industry in a bigger organisation.2 -
This place would be so much better and original if all 'joke/meme' tagged posts or posts that should be tagged as such for the 'meme' part were deleted.7

Does anyone know of any patches to make the android UI more responsive. Like the iPhone just better? I really think that would be the patch to ruin apple for good!10
-
Does anyone use pascal and what for?
Is there a better editor than borlands delphi?
Is pascal worth using/learning?
Can anyone advise if R or python would be more useful?3 -
I have a whole bag of pills to eat that make me sicker instead of better while I have a lot of studying and writing to do. Doc says I have to be diligent with pills but like...what of my goals? I'll also not get better if I don't eat the pills. What a conundrum.7

Would a CS degree be a better option than a Web specific degree even if web is a passion?
Web modules, I feel can be self taught.3 -
Thanks for letting me know my $documentName is blurry apple, but i think I'd be a better engineer than the one you hired to send me this email5

Dem feels when you cba setting up a project locally but want to use Git anyway for when you can be arsed... new repo once it's in a better place!3

Index, currIndex and i are all -1.
The real index is a postfix on a string in another class passed through several layers of reflection and delegates.
Tomorrow will be better. Tomorrow will be better. Tommorow will be better.... -
I’m trying to update a job posting so that it’s not complete BS and deters juniors from applying... but honestly this is so tough... no wonder these posting get so much bs in them...
Maybe devRant community can help be tackle this conundrum.
I am looking for a junior ml engineer. Basically somebody I can offload a bunch of easy menial tasks like “helping data scientists debug their docker containers”, “integrating with 3rd party REST APIs some of our models for governance”, “extend/debug our ci”, “write some preprocessing functions for raw data”. I’m not expecting the person to know any of the tech we are using, but they should at least be competent enough to google what “docker is” or how GitHub actions work. I’ll be reviewing their work anyhow. Also the person should be able to speak to data scientists on topics relating to accuracy metrics and mode inputs/outputs (not so much the deep-end of how the models work).
In my opinion i need either a “mathy person who loves to code” (like me) or a “techy person who’s interested in data science”.
What do you think is a reasonable request for credentials/experience?5 -
Programming anxiety is when one of the similar methods could be 1% better in performance and you're stunned by such a tough choice, which one to use/test first.
-
What is wrong with Android Studio it used to be better just the sheer number of updates and the gradle build oh the gradle build5
-
I hate Postman tests.
There has to be a better way of testing a set of apis working together than this clunky unreliable pile of shite4 -
Coolest thing I have built solo is me. I tried my best to be a better me everyday. I trained hard to be in a position today. I won't be here atleast in next 5 years4

So many people on devRant rave about iPhones because of the better security and privacy, but the new iPhone X starts at a whopping $1000! Sure, you don't have to get the X, but that's what everybody wants.
You'll say "well, I'm willing to pay more if it means better security because that's just the way it is." It doesn't have to be. It would be much more beneficial to actually fight and take a stand for better security and more privacy than just put up with outrageous prices.1 -
What will be the biggest issue for you while working in office?
Mine would be - if I'm listening to music while coding I often end up singing xD
Which I had better control on before covid saga2 -

Having sex. Or long hot showers. It's amazing how doing either of those helps me unplug for the day and start to refresh my self for the next day of coding.

Not taking an UI/UX class. I think this would help me be a better front-end developer. And also, not enrolling in a coding boot camp full time like I always wanted to. I learn better in a classroom.

Anyone here believes that good habits are the key to be a better programmer (write friendly code, learn something new, plan before code etc)
Any thoughts-suggestions?4 -
Why the heck can't a Dell display (or even better a daisy chain of them) be connected through a Dell docking station to a Dell laptop via Display Port? Seems like they should be compatible after all.3

Corporate -> Startup -> Corporate
Well this corporate is based in France and has a better reputation so hopefully my time here will be better -
Yarn install. It’s simple enough and I understand why it’s used but it’s just annoying having to install 150MB of stuff to be able to produce a 200KB output is file. There must be a better way?1

There needs to be a game called along the lines of "how to be a better employee" so if someone so happens to see my browser history dosent see a trail of No mans sky links.

When people use my life as a basis to judge that theirs is better, should I be proud of it, or feel sad about it 😅😅6
