3) Even worse, X keeps changing industries.

4) X keeps lying to you, your marginal user base and seems overall unethical. (You should leave at this point.)

5) X wants to target some obscure and very specific market and keeps pitching the company along the following lines

Eg: "Yo bro it's like Amazon but for necrophiles."

6)X keeps saying that X is the next big thing. (X is not and I can't emphasize this point enough.)

What you should realize is this is my general observation and some or all of these points may not apply to every situation.

So I ended up installing Arch Linux as the primary OS in my laptop, and to be honest, I'm not very crazy about it. Because I'm someone who likes an elegant UX, I spent three days and over 50 reboots and 5 reinstalls just trying to get Plymouth to work correctly (in the end, I just said screw it and gave up.) I know, I probably messed something up in the installation or configuration, but I didn't really want to deal with it anymore.

I'm not a big fan of the pacman package manager; I prefer apt. There were several applications I couldn't get to work properly, such as Steam, the Tor Browser, and Wine. All in all, I've basically wasted a week trying to get Arch Linux to work as the daily driver on my laptop, but I guess it's just not the distro for me.

I'm going to give Arch one last shot with the Manjaro distro. I'm hoping that Manjaro's simplified installation and configuration will produce a more usable (in my case) OS, and if not, I'll probably be going back to something Debian-based.

I'm not at all saying Arch is a bad distro. I know many people use it as their daily driver, and I have absolutely no problem with that. I'm not writing this to debate which distro is better, I'm just writing about my experience with it. Arch just may not be the distro for someone like me. At least I gave it a shot, right?

Just spent almost an hour trying to figure out why my computer won't display on my tv monitor (because the best smart TV is a PC). I tried everything, unplugging the graphics card and using the motherboard, tried another tv, tried different sockets. Tried another graphics card etc.

Eventually, without notice, after plugging it to a regular PC monitor, it started working. No clue why. But it works now so I'm happy.

One my junior was trying to re-build the code for 2 hours, he tried every possible ways: clean - build - rebuild - run and tried several times changing the codes. Then asked me for help, I just stopped the current running process in task bar and rebuild it. It worked!
He started starting at me like I wrote Windows OS :)

Have any of you tried Firefox Quantum? What are your thoughts about it? I am thinking on switch from Chrome on macOS.

How do you guys organize/save your codes, snippets, hints etc?
I already tried .txt file, bitbucket snippets, evernote

Using symfony for years. Tried to help a friend with Laravel. I feel like I was rolling in a mud for 3h.

Just tried to Setup my elementary os on my Home pc..
The Shit wont work!! Damn!
No WiFi connection! I tried everything.. i think there is a Problem with my Driver.. I was so desperated that i created a Mobile Hotspot, it worked, I run apt get Update and Upgrade , this Shit used over 100mb of my Internet volume.. then i tried the Shit again ... Connect to my WiFi at Home... And it... Doesn't work... Shit!

My patience for making guis has completely died, and it's making my open source work... fustrating. Tried QT, tried GTK+, tried swing, and JavaFX. Can't tell if I just suck at it or I'm on to something.

How stupid am i?

1. I tried to learn programming language.
- It just so freaking hard for me to understand. Failed at logic.

2. Tried to learn aws.
- Technically know how it works but often forgot the services name. (Was thinking to get aws cert).

3. Tried to learn OpenSource DB.
- Can do up to db setup only. Else i didnt understand sh*t.

4. Tried to learn cybersecurity.
- Ended up bunch of unwanted process in my vm.

I was envy that some of my friend only read documentation once & he is like know what to do.

Guys, any pro tips for poor man here?

Where should I even start?

I have created a TeX element with "/Math".

Then I have tried to type in a sum sign which works with "\\sum". BUT it won't let me display numbers below and above the sign. I tried to fix this by typing in "\\sum{someNum}{some\_other\_num}". It didn't work. I tried "\\qquad \\displaystyle\\sum\_{i=1}\^n". It still doesn't work. I tried "\\underset{}{}". It didn't work.

I tried to import the ams package. It didn't work.

I tried to read the official notion documentations. They didn't exist.

I tried some of the above KaTeX commands, because I saw that notion is using a KaTeX parser. "\\qquad" worked whereas "\\;, \\>" etc. didn't work.

"\\newline" and "\\\\" don't work.

When you have your formula written, it displays the latex commands and the results together when you don't edit the TeX/Math element anymore.

I would be very thankful for helpful answers.

what is the best way?
tried iframe but got a box with borders that I can't resize.
tried js document.write but does nothing.
any other, maby easy way?
