Create a folder on your desktop or use any 3rd party cloud service; when you've an idea and sooner or later realize that it's stupid. Don't just discard it, instead, put it in the ideas recycle folder. After a while, browse your ideas recycle folder. When going through all of them, I'm sure you'll come up with a new and better version of all those ideas.1

So I'm playing around with Node late at night and decide to make something of it. Made a real-time 2-way communication system with NodeJS, Express and Socket.io. The UI currently looks cheap, but it's clean. Open multiple tabs to see it in action.
You can also send private messages by typing /p username message. I could add authentication here and also connect it to MongoDB.
Any other ideas or reviews? Also any other ideas for Node projects? Thank you.

Time for a new great collab project!
Read the above rant I posted previously to see what our class is...
So the teacher(who uses visual c++ ide made in the 1990s) said to make an android based application or make a game but without using any block programming (like scratch) which means for android app development, we should make in java, js, c#, or any app makin' programming language. For game development, we should use either unity(yes, I am good at it) or unreal or gamemaker or buildbox. LibGDX is not allowed (I wonder how the teacher knows this library... strange).
Any ideas upon making apps or games? Prefer apps btw...
Something using SQLite or database will be appreciated but not dull student management system.

I love programming drunk! I can't sit still and always want to do stuff. When I'm drunk / tipsy I come up with ideas and start working on it. Most of the time in the morning, when my mind is clear, I'm not so creative and open minded as I'm drunk. Sometimes my ideas ain't that bad, but I loose interest in developing it any further. Ok so I am in this robotics course, we meet every 5 weeks from 8 to 15:30 to work on our projects. It's really nice because I can basically do what I want all day and don't have school! Fuck yeah... The only downside is that there are a lot of wannabe scientists who think they know everything about physics and computer science.

Does anyone have any idea why my 3rd monitor doesn't display anything sometimes when I boot into Windows? If I unplug and replug then I lose all output to all monitors . Doesn't happen in Linux. I assume it is drivers but I've reinstalled and updated and nothing works. Any ideas? :)3 -
